Believe it or not, we got lots of data and it ended up being a bit more complex to present in a succinct way. Pete is working his ever loving backside on the presentation, but bear in mind it’s a huge trove of data to sort.

Sadly, you missed the entry deadline for this round by 8 minutes.

Also, number 777 is outside the available range. Please select an available number within the range (up to 99), after the entry lockout concludes.

2. Communications:
All drivers are required to be in the NDR TeamSpeak server: teamspeak.newdimensionracing.com - Race Control messages will be broadcast to anyone in a channel in the Pit Wall in TS. If you would like a subchannel for your team or friendly drivers, please let us know and we will create one.
Make sure you have your race number and/or your LFS username as your nickname on TeamSpeak

3. Broadcast
This race will be broadcasted by Sim Broadcasts: https://twitch.tv/simbroadcasts

They will be in the NDR TeamSpeak. You are invited to be interviewed on stream during the breaks between sessions. Please follow their terms listed at https://simbroadcasts.tv/voice - we will apply those to our Commentary Box area.

4. Driver Naming:
Be sure to be in your proper name format Number (grey or white), space, then First initial last name [eg. 00 J. Palmer]. The name must be in GREY or WHITE.

On pit entry, all four wheels must be right of the blend line from the intersection with the first Safety Car line.
On pit exit, all four wheels must be to the right of the blend line along its entire length.

9. Qualifying Procedure
We are doing a two-shot qualifying system this season. You have a maximum of two exits of the pitlane, and two timed laps. You may take the laps separately or back to back. You are not to exit the pit lane if you do not have a timed lap remaining.

The qualifying session is 20 minutes in duration. The actual session will be 22 minutes long. Pit exit will be closed for the first two minutes. The Race Director will announce when the fast lane is open for drivers to queue at pit exit. Drivers should only enter the fast lane if they intend to proceed to the track from the pitlane.

Two-Shot Qualifying is not used in Pre-Qualifying.

10. Practice Starts
Drivers are permitted to take practice starts at the end of the pitlane, driver's right, just prior to the speed limit end line, any time the pit exit is open. Drivers taking practice starts should pull up to the chalk line that marks the formal spot, and wait for a clear path to take their practice start. Cars in the fast lane have right of way over cars preparing for a practice start.

11. Start and Safety Cars:
Each race will have one formation lap, followed by a standing start.

When the default LFS lights turn green, pull away from your grid slot and do one lap, return to the grid area. Stop at the furthest available grid slot. Once all cars are in position, the Starter will initiate the start sequence. An insim head-up display will appear, with three lights. After 5 seconds, all three lights will illuminate red. After a pause of between 2 and 5 seconds, the lights will turn green and the race will be started.

On Restarts, the Safety Car will pull away from the field after Turn 5. It must not be overtaken before it crosses the 1st Safety Car line.

12. End of Race
After finishing the race, please slow WELL BELOW racing speeds after Turn 1 and proceed around into pit lane. The top 3 shall report back to Start / Finish Line for podium pose.

Top three and anyone else wishing to be interviewed on the broadcast should join the Commentary Box Waiting Room, and one of the commentators will move you to the Commentary Box.

13. Miscellany:
Do NOT under any circumstances Shift+P or Shift+S during the race without authorization from Race Control.

Please post any procedural questions in this thread.

Good luck!

Hello racers!

What a fantastic first two rounds we've had so far! Despite the abandoned Feature Race start last time out, and the sprint race start issues, we all were impressed at the quality of driving right through the field.

This time out, we head to the track everybody in LFS has driven in some way. Oh, and who remembers when the XRT was a demo car?

Race weekend Sunday 8th November! Chat about it here!

Hello racers,

The following drivers are locked in to Round 3 of the championship, meaning they are already eligible for qualifying on Sunday:

Isaac Price (IsaacPrice)
Pauli Peltokangas (Botswanan Salama)
Sean Lee (microspecv)
Niko Puntola (nikopdr)
Ayoub Elhannouni (Ayoub2016)
Dániel Balla (MandulAA)
Joni Katila (jsrk)
Oscar Hardwick (oscarhardwick)
Karolis Motiejuitis (Sobis)
Kaique Piropo (KaiqueBRA)

These drivers must still confirm their appearance by the deadline.

All other drivers are required to attend the Pre-Qualifying session, to be held at 14:00 UTC on 8 November 2020.

It will take place in the main TBO Challenge server. Should we have more than 40 drivers able and willing to partake in Pre-Qualifying, we will split the cars evenly between two servers, and run the sessions concurrently.

Drivers will have 20 minutes of track time. There is no limit to how many laps or pit exits you may make, those restrictions are only for the proper Qualifying session.

There are currently 28 spots available for transfer to the race meeting proper. This may change based on how many of the top 10 confirm and/or appear on the day. Drivers just outside the limit should remain on standby and be ready to join in if a spot opens up in the time leading up to Race 1.

Quote from pittpulga :I would like to change my car for XRT. Is it possible?

Yes, it is. It will cost you all points earned to date, the moment you take to the track in the different car. If you understand and accept this, please post in the affirmative and we will commit your car change to the record.
