Quote from Sobis :Would it be possible to have a small counter of how many boosters were used during the race up above near the track status? Would help keeping track how many were used. Similar style to qualification counter available to us.

I might be able to add that for the 4th and 5th rounds, the last few weeks of my life have been hell so adding features to make all our lives better has been gutted by work and personal issues.

I can probably add it, given a couple hours to code and test.

In qualifying, Car 51 was judged to have taken a third timed lap. This lap was disallowed.

In Race 1, Car 5 caused an avoidable collision at Turn 4. This was penalized with a 5-place grid penalty.

In Race 1, Car 5 spectated from on course without race control permission. This is penalized with a 5-point driver's championship penalty.

In Race 2, Car 34 was determined to have only used two activations of the Power Boost area. As no part of the session was declared wet, this is in violation of the regulations. This is penalized with a 10 second time penalty to Car 34's race time.

The following outstanding Grid Penalties were served during Round 2:

47 (2 places)
5 (5 places)

Date: Sunday, 5 February 2023 at 19:00 CET / 18:00 UTC
Track: WE3X - Westhill Grounds RX

Welcome to Round 5 of the 2023 MRc RX Championship, the season finale!

The event will start with a 20-minute free practice session. All drivers wishing to take part in the day's rally MUST take a lap during this session to be added to the attendance list. Failure to do so, will result in you being prohibited from taking part in the round. For the avoidance of doubt, one time of your lapcount going from 1 to 2 will add you to the entry list.

Please use the Free Practice to get familiar with your selected car and the layout.

At the end of free practice, once you've taken the chequered flag, please return to the servicing area.

Qualifying heats (1-3) will be run without wind and will be 3 laps.

Heat Race Gridding:
Heat 1 will be a random draw of entered competitors.
Heat 2 will use your Heat 1 RACE time.
Heat 3 will use your COMBINED Heat 1 and Heat 2 RACE times.

Each run in a heat will be gridded so to have not more than 5, nor less than 3 racers. Heats 2 and 3, are gridded slowest to fastest - slower cars run first, faster cars in the last heat runs.

After all three heats are completed, the BEST TWO OF THREE Heat RACE times for a driver will be added. Ordered fastest to slowest, the top 16 advance to the Finals.

Automatic Assignments:
1-5 to A-Final
6-10 to B-Final
11-16 to C-Final

WINNER of C-Final advances to B-Final.
WINNER of B-Final advances to A-Final.

All finals runs will be with low wind and will be 4 laps.

Official Classification:
You are classified based on your highest completed final.

1-6: A-Final
7-11: B-Final
12-16: C-Final

If you are disqualified from a final, you will be placed at the bottom of that final, and still earn points for that position.

If you do not advance to the finals, you are not classified for the championship.

There will be no pitstop/reset available during the race, nor will there be no mid-race join, if a car flips and is stuck on his roof, the car will spectate within 5s, this so others don’t crash into the wreck.

Straight Acceleration Zone:
On race start you are required to stay within the white lines either side of your grid spot. Once you have exited that lane, you can change your line.

Round 4 results official.

Points updated after Round 4. Down to 2 drivers eligible for the top step of the Champoinship table.

Steven Bossard can clinch the title by advancing to the finals, and finishing 15th or higher.

Teemu Särkkinen must win the A-Final and have Bossard finish 16th or not qualify for any final to win the Championship.

However, intense competition for the 2nd and 3rd step of the championship podium, as there are 5 drivers within striking distance of 2nd. Plenty of room for the rest of the table to move also, so we hope for a full crowd for Sunday's finale!
