It's being created after Eric looked what cruise servers are doing I guess; placing a gazillion objects on the center of the road to prevent wrong way driving. Nice, but not handy for racing.
Maybe the appearance of these objects can get triggered by the cruise flag. (letter C @lfsworld)
[attachment] I also noticed this gray area, normally this is a section where you would expect an object. A place for pedestrians and or people with bike to pause when crossing the road, but its entirely removed here. Either coincidental or this is really a different mode where some object is removed.
Kinda weird by the way to have lightrail trains scattered around the racing/driving area. Normally they would be parked in a depot during an event but hhmm okay, nitpicking.
Hmm I do not fully agree. X/Y determines the start/finish direction.
edit: but, hhmm.. On South City its not so important it seems.. Only SF-line is positioned wrong, there are no grid slots and traffic lights work in both directions so can create a custom grid field if you want other direction in the end.. I guess.
Its a bad idea to have it in normal race layouts but also in the open world version it would be bad as it would massively limit the so called open racing layout creativity. But, I do not want to jump to any conclusions at this point. First patch-test release the whole stuff and see how it goes. Some kind of track loading switch would be nice but we will see. (Same kind of worries drifters had/have earlier @AutoX)
sure it is.. Never seen vandals doing their "job"? In minutes its gone. Im pretty sure if some street circuit race is going to be held at Monaco/Vietnam/Singapore/Azerbaijan the same stuff is being done. Its not much work to remove it temporarily for a race.
Right.. Why you think LFS is causing it, it sounds to me like there is interference. All cabling is digital though?
Install a key logger (deactivate virus scanner if you have one running to begin with, not really needed in a static environment causing only performance issues) and analyse if it are actual keystrokes or not.
Ask Trump, he likes to fk around with trading tariffs. But its mostly a badly tweaked Nissan Navara. Pretty skeptical UK woman; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Nm97mO7e1A .. Enjoy.
I summarized your "they vs you" ranting. You obviously show that you have zero understanding about what that link was about. I gave a slight hint in the quote edit. There is no teamracing on anymore, it's all about individualism so it's very wrong to talk about "they" because there is no they.. Just a bunch of unorganized "you's". And thats exactly whats going on in today's society. Facebook, Twitter, Insta, all that other crap.. Just a big bunch of "you's".
All these type of threads look back at a "we"-history and that is what is correct, it's history. Enjoy the bunch of you's.
I joined this morning and I got a general idea what you are on about. Thats why the update delay on servers like [TC] citydriving is longer of course..
I think we are years away before these kind of requests will be honored so don't hold your breath
Depends on the level of efficiency. 27 buttons a second per player sounds pretty extreme to me. Are you sending/deleting/sending buttons all the time? This is not how it should be done, only updates should be send. And there is also the global button (send to all connections).
The what? Oh this is that thing with towers what Scawen has. Yes, uninteresting. Well you know the difference between buying and using? If something is "sold out" it doesn't say anything about if it's actually being used. A lot of people are like that German guy is doing on his Youtube channel. Buying everything and put it on a shelf for display, wauw, thats useful.
and be in your own isolated world yes, not a good direction for the world to head to
No I do no want to be called anything. Especially the Dutch population are world champions in doing that.
I ask a question about how its going with the whole VR situation. Are there any significant developments, the answer is no.. And I even had to answer my own question. Typical.
yes, something to do for some people I dont see the problem, doesnt matter, no but thanks for pointing that out. Still not the best method to promote a new product.
criticizing != negative
But to get back on topic, nothing to expect from Microsoft then. Anything else, or is this all?
What do I judge? What if the VR enthusiasts actually are the ones going completely out of mind and judging that 2D is something from the past? Television makers already made that mistake by introducing 3D some years ago. Nobody wants to sit with colored glasses in front of their televisions at home. Let alone complete helmets!
But I like the idea of VR180 though and I follow whats going on with those 360 camera's, but, still.. I do not want to get infected with that helmet virus. Microsoft was doing something useful with this hololens thing/idea but overall VR news became very very quiet lately.. So, why not ask the ultra VR fans the question if something innovative is coming up because for the outsiders like me it appears to have stalled.
edit: searched myself now.. Version 2 was released this month. $3500, are they on drugs or what? Lol
Children and full grown adults watch these kind of "documentaries" nowadays;
These people are also from the UK. They are miljonairs but clearly lack proper education. Worst of all, adored by millions (and most of those people are car enthusiasts). Two of the three even have children.
This kind of garbage hurts my eyes to the max. But if I say something about it, I get attacked by millions of "fans". As long as this kind of clowns work gets massive attention and approval, this planet is doomed.
I do not understand the surprise belief what some members throughout the years bring up. There where never 'surprises', every release was a release what was being discussed in the months before. Lets keep it that way, surprise expectations only lead to disappointments/negativism which is unnecessary. Jesus is coming, some day.
May I say I am not impressed by these images? BeamNG is also at least DirectX 10.1 (they say 11 themselves), not sure if they make use of these library extensions concerning reflections as I have no idea what the differences exactly are but LFS stays at 9. And that will be fine, I guess.
the work of this 'most people' themselves is not interesting. Good to read that something is being done on multi-thread/multi core level.
That is not how it works in real life. Sometimes explaining whats going on can lead to new insights or some new/other idea. Communication is pretty important.
No, like I explained, the E46 has this light switch with dot (at least the LCI had). The E60 has it too, the dot is on the left side of the switch. Could be a E39 where the light switch is directly next to the dail area. Whatever you do, do not switch car or car brand before at least 150 times thinking if the seats are OK for your back or not. The Passat killed my back and it took sadly way too much time before I realized it was coming from the car. It never fully recovered and I am very sensitive for soft seating now. Rather sit on a floor then on a soft sofa. So I can understand why sticking to an "old" car can be beneficial. If it drives and sits good then it drives and sits good. Although 300.000 km (188.000 miles) was getting too critical for the E46 at the time and had to let it go. All these trips to Wales/Newcastle, Norway, Croatia and now St.P (The Great ) are not really helping to keep the mileage down but car > plane. Quite safe to say after so many months that I am the only western license plate in the city so if you see me driving just wave hello and think ah this is this ass***e from LFS .
I still refuse to buy a VR headset but I think the dashboards in VR can be very aggressive for the eyes and he is investigating this ambient light auto adjustment feature for this reason.
