No. Why? There is enough database space, interesting to read all these people seeking to have fun but not willing to pay for it and making the most silly arguments why it shouldn't cost anything.
What the hell? What do you think what happened here?
The official community existed of over 10.000 online racers <= racers (!). I know this because I counted and recorded licensed activity throughout the years. Everyone of them paid a very small amount for this fun. Until someone thought to steal the complete online multiplayer LFS environment for it's own needs. Me me me me, want want want and if we can't get what we want we steal it thats the attitude of this world nowadays.
I fully agree with him. No idea why you are so against him (partly because its getting late here / tired) but eehhh to get back to topic start.. What you want can be done with InSim. "blocked messages unblocked messages" is a global message which can be tracked by InSim, further chat analyses can be done and a private warning can be send to someone who tries to communicate with a blocked user.
I would have liked to implement that myself and had lots of other ideas but well... Quite pointless now with this low active userbase.
Maybe someone else is still motivated to do this. I would say, have fun
Not talking about it is part of the problem right now.. How many Facebook groups I've seen the last two years with thousands of likes, Youtube video's with illegal content.. Hundreds.. If it cannot be discussed, it will not be seen, so it doesn't exist? Always been a weird philosophy.
I directly believe that... This makes any development quite pointless, it would only boost that environment even more. (Like it did with Westhill 2.0).
Yeah and it stays like this unless something substantial happens .. I doubt any official tire physics update, new track and or car release will help bringing life back in LFS. The biggest problem right now is multiplayer piracy. Even loads of people with a LFS license are now into piracy 24/7 ..
Years ago, at least before the Westhill update. Same concerning tyre physics update talks.. That people can get excited again just by mentioning it for the millionth time is beyond me. But at least it's no VR talk
It does, two years further, there are five people using some VR and thats it. I say something about it and I am the one who is crazy. Well, just a middle finger and some Youtube celebration if another patch comes out about VR. Lets find out how good this LFS t-shirts will burn with 100ml of fuel.
I might be crazy but it's completely retarded to recommend VR here in front of all those people and if you don't like the 2D cockpit views then you can piss off because you are just a fool. The fools here are the people who still believe in all this VR nonsense. It doesn't sell and it doesn't look like it will ever do. In the meantime sticking with Windows XP, now that's hilarious.
