Eehh no you can have InSim on demo as demo member too. Thats actually how I started with LFS (and LFSLapper).

On paper things can "sound" different then in real. But suggesting to others what they should or should not do is not really a good idea (like trying this silly VR environment). People can easily decide for themselves when something becomes a waste of energy or if it is still fun to have it on the mind. I don't like to have stuff running while almost nobody gives a sh* about anymore but maybe racing is coming back.. Some full AMG (GTR) and/or FOX servers would be nice... 24/7 .. Like it used to be, long long ago.

When new tire physics get released and Scirocco I am sure something is going to happen. Not want to be skeptical but it almost has it's 10 year anniversary celebration (Dec. 2018). But, simply be idle in the meantime like me isn't that hard to do. Is it?

No this is not possible with Airio, actually LFS changed it's default weather procedure year(s) ago on purpose to randomized to get around the problem to have always the same weather @Airio.
Yes, but it's not low profile. He seeks SFF format desktop casings for his project I guess (SFF = small form factor) and normal sized GPU cards would not fit.
But with a little bit of work you can find low profile GPU cards, especially in the USA. Prices for computer equipment there is in general a bit lower.

Casings as we know them are overrated, contain way too much air. You find some PCI-E Riser sideways adapter; http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16816129055 and the space problem is solved. (not for that price by the way.. way too expensive for such a simple print+socket).

As I've said before, car shadows and anti aliasing (AA) are the most important performance factors .. Why are people writing forum messages and not trying various settings in the time they could write a forum message is beyond me. If it cannot even outperform my 5 year old laptop card it's pretty hopeless.
Why be so limited on GPU investment for commercial usage? Eye candy is the number one selling factor. Funny thing is you invest in CPU, while LFS still can be happy with 1st or 2nd generation CPUs (or Core2Duo, but these are really getting museum status by now). You can find i3 2nd gen. SFF ex business desktops on Ebay for about $70-$80 .. You throw in some low profile GPU card and it's done.

What a highly complicated method, just run Airio or any InSim from a remote location to a LFS host.
Downside is that you need minimal a VPS and if you have a VPS then you can run LFS yourself anyway

Buying a better graphics card/chip for gaming is like explaining a three year old how to put a car from first to second gear in order to make the car go faster. If you need a FAQ for this then a computer is not for you. Luckily there are gaming consoles. Downside of that is that you also need to be a rich bitch . to be able to buy a gaming console.
