If serious racing activity increases @LFS maybe it's a different story but as you can make up from any other development thread the last, eight years now, things are on a stand still. The racing which takes place is of bad quality, there are a handful aliens left, the rest is just cruising along (sorry guys, I know some trying the best they can... But..).
Not sure what you are referring about but this is not a topic where help is requested, is it?
Actually I never opened a topic like this, do not really see the point of it other then that it keeps the enemy motivated to get it's so desperately wanted attention.
They seem to be perfectly happy with it, including the userbase.
Its that I do not like that everything is being managed externally with having limited to no self control otherwise I also would have joined despite the costs.
Yes, to stay on topic, it's the best to blacklist the complete region as they have a nature to "solve" this matter like this all the time. Also between each other. Going on for years already.
And there is a "soft" blacklisting for it. What I did with latin America before.
But it looks like its going to take some more years before some new tire physics get released @LFS so any requests for cars are useless at this point in time.
Every setting in de lfs cfg file can be set/changed at the host server configuration screen. Admin password is being set upon server creation. Just try; https://www.lfs.net/hosting
On-demand Hosting (hourly) only starts ticking credit away when the server actually is started.
With a loonngg history of [WKD] training, there is a lot more to be done then just blocking some range of IP numbers. The internet doesn't work like that. Heads up, glad that I am not involved in that kind of sh* anymore, it's not worth the time.
Better off anyway if the US drops finally -the bomb- .. Cleansweeping that sandpit.. Would be good.
I'm of course only talking about the actual modification work, which primarily is about welding. Now I understand you want -everything- being arranged, made and done by someone else. Ye, eehh, that costs a lot of money.
I know people the would do something like this for §1k/$2k -MAX-
But the heart and soul needs to speak, otherwise nothing is moving. These are the skilled guys. Nothing to do with `learning´. But, it´s probably clash of cultures. Too bad. I know this from this American one night stand, she had this typical American attitude; `throw money at it and the world would move for you´... Well, no, sometimes not. Surprise
Cannot do anything from this side of the ocean, if I would be a tiny bit more motivated I would do a project similar to yours (thats why I am tracking it a bit, and supporting it.. It could be fun).
But it has something to do with bitspace and incompatible replays and InSim systems I guess. Maybe a chance when the tire system gets updated, if ever. (then about everything is incompatible).
