Going to take a stab in the dark and say your running F1 and acorrding to the gigabyte website your cpu isn't supported until version F3.

Really depends on what audio chipset your running, ie Realtek, soundmax, soundblaster ect.

Motherboard make would be nice to know, if you don't know just download cpu-z it will tell you.
