Well, grooved slicks, but yes I agree, it must be something else. Yet I can't think of an F1 car with that livery (not that you often see an F1 car at that angle), and it doesn't have the F1 quality to it...

I don't get which bit you mean. the twisting 'roll bar' is pivoted fore-aft at the bottom to transmit movement/forces into the shock. Although I think it would bend a lot itself too.

Doesnt look too hard for me to create the livery, but i dont have good enough skills to create a bodykit, which is actually big key in that normal/racing livery. And FWD cars livery skinned on XRT which is RWD is

Anyway, i wont be making the skin because i have too much stuff going on in my private life right now.

Can someone please render Epic Racing's 2010 FZR livery, nothing fancy, black rims, white background.

By the way: Not every one is able to guess the look of that helmet by watching one single picture of it. What's on top, back and the other side of it remains a miracle. The request was for XFG but I'm having fun at the moment converting it for the XFR. The livery fits it much better.

Looked around for this livery, couldn't find it, so i decided to make one myself.

Renault Megane Rally Livery (old)

My First FBM Skin, the Madonna livery from SMGP (the old Sega MegaDrive/Genesis game), since there are no readable sponsors on the game (just the VTMAO), i decided to write stuff on it.
Feel free to use it online, but please don't edit (at least no more than the number).

(i have made the rest of the SMGP1 grid, so just ask if you want any of the other cars).

Hey there! Something basic is perfectly okay. Many people overdo it quite fast. What is more important to me is quality.

When it comes to specific skills... being honest I have learned nearly everything by doing/trial and error.^^ The only tutorials I can really recommend are the ones regarding path tools.
The most useful yet easiest thing you need for skinning LFS models are the Pro-Kits by the Master Skinnerz.
I don't know which program you use but GIMP should satisfy all your needs. There's also Adobe Photoshop but it's not exactly free.^^

If you are a lazy guy, know most needed tools and tweaks of the program you use and have to worry mainly about design and aligning issues it shouldn't take you longer than a full day of work.^^

Note that remakes of real cars liveries take you a bit longer. You have to do much picture research, you have to interprete the livery in a way that fits the car to be skinned and you will always find a reason why your skin doesn't look like the original. Of course that does not apply if you are no perfectionist.



One last thing: One of many failures I detect about skinning is the brightness and saturation of colours. Have a precise eye!

I don't want to repeat the same thing over and over again.

Anyway, a fictional livery I want. But see, here's the thing. Normally, I would a private skin myself. But I suck at lining things up. That and I pretty much suck at skinning in general.

But, I would like someone to come to my aid.

I would like the skin to be similar to that of the Ferrari F93, used in the Formula 1 1993 season. The general paint-job on it is what I would like, i.e. the white part, black wings and a red base.

Now, to the personal bits.

On the white area, near the Marlboro logo, I would like the LFS logo. On the rear wing, WINTON, in a font of your choice (make it appropriate though ) and the car number of 13. Everything else is up to the man doing the job.

There is no dead-line for the skin to be completed by, I don't want a rushed piece of work with little quality.

But yeah, this will make me very happy. :smash3d:
