TIMDC DOMINATES ROCKINGHAM AND TAKES THE TITLE!
The Rally of Rockingham was set to decide all the season's classifications, both drivers and teams, and it delivered drama on all levels!
One of the most technical rallys of the season, with plenty of danger zones and tricky spots, the Rockingham Rally proved to be punishing and selective.
Many mistakes on the course, both from the less experienced drivers and from the veterans!
[MRc] TimDC had to finish in front of SSM X K@nflict to claim the title, and boy, the MRc Superstar delivered on all levels!
Best time in the Prologue, best time in the Main Stage, and a Bonus Race won in style: perfect clean sweep for the Master Race Car driver, who didn't crack under pressure and delivered a great performance when it mattered the most!
K@nflict of team Sindre Silva Motorsport tried his best to attack TimDC's lead: he went out super aggressive from the get go in the Prologue, taking sharp lines, but this kind of approach bitten him back, with some mistakes and penalties that demoted him in second overall place, behind his title rival.
Not enough to claim the title: the first RG World Rally Cup trophy goes into [MRc] TimDC hands, a glorious victory for the rally driver of belgium, who writes his name in the World Rally Cup Hall of Fame as the first series champion!
ZFRL Thehemuli completes the Rockingham Rally Podium with a very solid performance: the finnish driver managed to recover after a mistake in the Prologue, going fast in the main stage and claiming an important podium at the end of the season!
4th position ih the rally of SGR Madjester, who was caught out by a massive mistake in Stage 1, losing precious time when it could have been podium worthy run!
The Rockingham's Rally Top 5 is completed by RG^LORENZO, who suffered all kind of dramas during both the Prologue and the main stage, losing time and the third position in the driver's standings in favour to Madjester!
PROLOGUE RESULTS
STAGE 1 RESULTS
The Final Bonus race of the season was the craziest and most action packed yet!
The course was very punishing on the suspensions: a specific setup work was needed in order to complete the 6 laps distance, but only 3 drivers managed to do their homework properly, as we'll see!
The race start was frantic, with the drivers flying over the first jump in close formation: spectacular racing went on for a few laps both in front and at the back.
[MRc] TimDC, fresh new champion, raced a spectacular Golden livery for the final Bonus Race, and brought it to glory with yet another win after a close and exciting wheel to wheel battle with SGR Madjester, 2nd at the chequered!
Behind it was drama: SSM x K@nflict, RG^LORENZO and Jam all suffered critical suspension damage in the jumps, finding themselves on their floors before Lap 5, being unable to finish the race!
RG^RedBot was smarter than them, racing more cautious and with adjusted suspensions in the setup, he overtook all the drama, finishing on the Podium!
