and LOL

Quote : the street next to Bathurst circuit has been officially named Gran Turismo Drive.

the first hour doesn't look good, extra easy AI, forced Fit, I wonder how long you have to sink in before you get AI that are semi challenging.

and oh now the standard and premium cars are all together in the dealership, must be fun flipping through 3 pages for standard miatas to get to the car you want?
The cars still seem to sound like vacuums... which is disappointing because I thought they were on their way to improve car sounds.

The rest looks alright though. Shame that you're forced to go through a tutorial and buy the car you don't want.
That street is real

Rockingham.:twirl:
So ready for this. Can anyone confirm what VWs are premium?

The Sirocco GT24 is premium, new for GT6, 2 versions
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3pnaT0LNgJM

And if you get the Special anniversary edition, you get this one

And from GT5

Golf IV GTI '01
Golf V GTI '05
Kubelwagen Typ82 '44
Schwimmwagen Typ166 '42
Type2 (T1) SambaBus '62

There may be others, I think there was a tuner GTI version as well and a race modded one

There is also a VW Golf Vision concept car to come

GT's physics should be perfect for the "National Motor Racing Museum".
Quote from S3ANPukekoh3 :Does Bathurst get an iRacing Avenue and a Forza Way too?

I think iRacing gets a toll booth.

Ai looks like it is the same shit as in gt5. Even on this nordschleife vid the ai still makes all the exact same mistakes as it did in gt5. At 0:55 it does the exact same left right left movement across the track. It brakes on a staightaway that is flatout even in spacerocket... Still brake checks in the exit of the 2:50. And the ai is still dumb as *** as well. How can it be so bad it takes so long to pass a gt corvette in a freaking peugeot 905 lemans prototype.

It is imho just mind blowing how pd managed to take the worst parts of gt5 and make it worse. Force players to start with nissan fit. WHY? How could anyone at all think it is a good idea? Best part of the whole gt series is finding your first car with the little money you have. I still remember all the first cars I've bought in every gt game. First game I bought a mazda demo. In the 2nd I bought crx. In the fourth one I bought wv lupo or beetle. Didn't play gt3. And in fifth I bought a mitsubishi fto. Now the game forces you to buy a car that is way too fast and expensive for the novice races... and is a car nobody wants.

Then force the player to go though the a-spec without giving any choise what to do. Instead of exp you now collect stars. And nothing was done to improve the three major problems with the game. Sound, ai and a-spec. The more I learn about the game the less sense any of the design decisions make and the more the game looks like a total let down.

Imho this is a 60€ patch to gt5.

Totally agree. Not giving an option for the first car is the most retarded thing PD has done to date, and they've done a lot of stupid crap. I still remember the red RX-7 convertible that I bought as my first car in GT2 and the AE86 in GT3, those were good times.

I was 50/50 about buying GT6 on launch, now after reading first impressions around the web, I have no desire at all to get it.
Even though I agree with Matrixi and Hyperactive, unfortunately GT is still the most complete game for petrolheads who just want to appreciate and collect cars and take them for a spin every now and then, that's why I am getting it

So no upgrades for the mk1 or mk2 or the addition of sciroccos. Bummer. Still just want it because gt5 is boring already lol.

They are standard but most likely got cleaned up exteriors like a lot of standards have
Also - DLC to come

I'm guessing this is the new intro movie

Some good discussion on physics and GT6 engine
And the guy who has driven the Quattro group B in real life said the GT6 version handles the same way

However, the app only records the path you took and doesn't record other details such as the road's width or surrounding scenery. Those details will be fine-tuned using GT6's course maker within the game itself. As Imasaki noted, the course maker will be an expanded version of what was in the previous game, but he wasn't ready to dive into specifics just yet.

One addition the team is hoping to include is point-to-point tracks, or tracks that aren't a complete loop. If you're trying to record your morning commute using the app, for example, chances are you won't be making a complete loop. Imasaki acknowledged that point-to-point track support is something the team is aware of, but it remains to be seen whether this feature will make it into Gran Turismo 6.
