Back when ground wasn't covered in white crap called snow..

Atleast 5 months to go for the driving season to start. I hate winter!
Wow! Lovely car Matrixi. That's been my dream car, and still is!

then buy a cheap 4wd car to have fun in the winter
Not planning to rust out the datsun with road salt. Besides, I just sold a cheap 4wd away less than a month ago. 4wd is boring if there isn't lots of power, be it winter or summer. Some Evo or STI might be nice, but those aren't exactly cheap cars to bash around.
you could try a panda 4x4
im sure it would be absolutely terrifying (in a good way) to drive in the finnish winter

+1

Only heard good things about it, yet.
But as a Fiat owner i have to tell you that the quality of the interior isn´t the best lol

If i where you i´d take a look for some BMW E30 325 iX. Driven one last winter and this thing was a beast!

yes R32 is 4wd but i am pretty sure for winter you would want a shit car to mess around with

I was thinking about buying me an VW Polo GTi the last few days. Already found some good offers.

So did anyone of you Guys drive one, or actually own a Polo GTi?

Searching for a small but sportive car, that shouldn´t be too expensive

nice car but i need something where i can fit the wifey and the baby in, too
If you wan't something German, how about a Golf GTi or an Audi A4?

Even if the Polo was a 5dr, i doubt you would have enough room for your Wife and Kid and then all your luggage for a Holiday.

I used to know a guy with one, he loved it but I think he got kinda bored after a while and the space isn't very good, though you will be surprised at just how much you can fit in a Polo. I'd love to have one, I think it's 120bhp form the 1.6 which in such a small car would for sure be pleanty of fun. Though the guy I knew sold it and got a Leon Cupra, Good swap imo, maybe you should look into the 1.8 turbo Golfs or Audi A3's? I think the prices may be around the same or less depending how many miles at has etc.
