Note: badongo isn't working here (page script won't open on Opera or Internet Explorer), so I won't be able to mirror in it. If you know any other website I can mirror the files, please tell me and I'll upload to it.
Note 2: Feel free to mirror these files in your preferred file hosting service or in your own hosting service. It would be nice to have all download links in the same place though, so if you mirror it somewhere else, please tell me so I can add the links up here. Credits will be given to everyone who mirror the files.
Thanks to Shadowww for rapidshare and filefactory mirrors.
No, I don't think so, and I hope not. Car shadows and track shadows are completely different in my opinion. Scawen has mentioned on a recent test patch he would completely redo the track shadowing system at some point, and that's also why I'm pretty sure that's what's going to happen, and that's why I said that. (He didn't promise or said he was doing anything though! Please let's not start speculating).

Lynce is always doing awesome and amazing addons.
Congratulations, everything looks perfect.
By the way, the installers are coming!
The full installer is the first one coming, then the separate addons installers. I still have to upload them though.
This feature will most likely need a complete redo on all tracks when implemented, and will most likely change the formats of the tracks and many things they have done in the game currently, specially if Scawen changes the shadow format to real-time shadows (which will be necessary to have different weather, 24 hours races with day and night and so on). If there's anything like that in the plans, it'd be better to make tracks after this update, so the new tracks wouldn't need to be edited manually, they would already be created with the new features.
LOL! It really, really does remind me of NFS Underground and NFS Underground 2 in almost everything, combined with Nascar Rumble for the PSX because of the things you pick in the track that make strange effects around the car and so on
Well, it works. I didn't have time to properly try to install it, but it seems to work until now. Apart from mouse recognition, though.
Which version (preferably free and that doesn't cut out all features) of VMWare could I use to emulate Ubuntu? (this question is directed to anyone who knows the answer, not only Shadowww )
I've just tried using Windows XP on Windows 7 on Windows 7, and it didn't work. The virtual PC on Virtual Windows 7 says it couldn't open the virtual machine.
Also, integration features don't work after installing the Virtual Machine update on Virtual Windows 7.
I'm using MS Virtual PC because it's free and it comes on Windows 7.
Here's how I made it:
I installed Virtual Machine that comes with Windows XP, then installed Windows 7 on Windows XP, and that's it, I'm emulating Windows 7 on Windows 7.
Now I'm trying to install Windows Virtual Machine on Windows 7 on Windows 7, so I can emulate Windows XP on Windows 7 on Windows 7.
It was a very messed up version with plenty of blur, lots of depth of field and motion blurring effects to simulate NFS Shift... I made it only for that video, sorry but I don't think I'll release it. I will, however, release another version for LFS (not messed up) sometime soon.
Until then, you can download the old version that's on my signature.
I've bought every single game I ever installed on my computer. That's why I'm disappointed.
By the way, who said one can't pirate his console games? I bet there are plenty of people who don't pay for their console games too! Actually, I know many of them!
An EA Games spokesman said it's because you shouldn't see the cockpit while racing at high speeds: you should be looking at the track, with all your attention focused at it, and said "this is how real drivers drive". Thus, your cockpit (AND MIRRORS!) are always blurred when you're at high speeds.
That's also why I configured ENBSeries to blur the whole cockpit in LFS on the video I made.
Well, as long as it gets to the PC and it is optimized and with better graphics than on the consoles, I don't mind it not coming this year. The only thing I think it's a shame is, people who only play on the PC won't be able to play it as soon as they should.
Game developers should start releasing their games to both PC and consoles at the same time! Come on!
About CryEngine 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kRWRskYLdno
They removed the whole vegetation from the whole island and then made it all dark and brown thinking people wouldn't notice the difference. They have also reduced view distance to 15 foot. Look how the barrels simply materialize right in front of him in the video.
Moral of the story: Do not try to run Crysis on a console. It doesn't work out well.
PC wins.

I can't believe I didn't notice that
I thought it was a connection problem because I've been having several problems with multiplayer modes in many other games.
Since I changed my ISP from NET Virtua to GVT I can't see most of the servers from the server list anymore. They're just gone, they don't appear on the list. I used to see more than 90 populated servers all day long, but now I only have 15 populated ones and that if I'm lucky. 80% of the empty servers are also gone: I used to have more than 1 thousand empty servers on the list, but now it only shows 200.
Is there any port I could forward to see the other servers? What could be the problem?
I already have ports 29339 and 63392 forwarded both UDP and TCP.
The problem was LFS itself. He hasn't created a new install of LFS since patch U, he's been just upgrading it until the latest official patch through the years (0.5Z), and somehow it may have got messed up, I don't know. Today I sent him a fresh LFS install, and it fixed the problem.
Maybe he would want the money, not the license (just as I would if it was possible), or even would like to give the new license to a friend of his who doesn't already have a demo account and, as such, cannot join the competition.
Até que não tinham tantos erros, hehe. Tomei a liberdade de dar uma ajeitada nos que encontrei, e postar na enciclopédia do LFS em português.
Aqui o link: http://pt.lfsmanual.net/wiki/Regras_de_Corrida_Limpa
Well, there weren't that many errors, heh. I took the liberty to fix the ones I've found and post it in LFS's portuguese encyclopedia.
Here it is: http://pt.lfsmanual.net/wiki/Regras_de_Corrida_Limpa
Congratulations again for the translation. This is a important step for the portuguese LFS manual. If you want to translate any other part, you can do it and port it to the portuguese manual, all you need to do is to log in there and add up the translated parts using the same format as the english manual. It shows which part every user has translated. I've done that with several parts, but I don't have time to translate anymore.
