iRacing doesn't seem to want to fix any of those issues though, all we need is MORE CONTENT
I guess I'd pay $50 for it, $100 tops. Main reason I don't want to upgrade is the hassle. With the release candidate I couldn't go straight from XP to 7, can the full release do that? I don't feel like having to install everything again. I guess I'll hold off until the next hard drive reformat. Honestly though, if they're trying to charge almost $200 for it, I may look around the net for it first.
Yeah, unfortunately this is true. I wanted to get a manual on my last car, which is a sports car, but they didn't even offer it. It does have that fake slap shifter thing though, which I hated at first but I use it every once and a while and once you get used to it you can get the car to do what you want the majority of the time. Still not the same as a manual though.
Can't believe Kahne ended up holding off Stewart and Ambrose but he did have a really strong car.
I'm pulling for Montoya to make the chase. Seems like a lot of people don't like him, but when he first came over to Nascar I really got the sense that he wasn't just doing it for money, but he really wants to win a championship some day and I like seeing how his team is improving as time goes on. He's been putting up a lot of solid finishes lately, good to see.

He mentions coming to the US to race. Would be cool, but I don't see it happening.
As someone already said, hopefully this whole thing turns out better than the CART/IRL split.

Double file restarts seemed to work pretty well, we were in the infield on the fence in turn one so it was definitely more exciting having them come by 3-wide on the restarts. I wasn't listening to the broadcast most of the race but it seemed like the lap down cars can use some rule to get their lap back by not pitting under caution? Seems strange but will probably only work on a couple tracks.
Awesome to see Tony get the win, we had a lot of Stewart fans in our group so it was pretty exciting getting to see him work his way up through the pack. Then with one to go the radio guys said he was out of fuel and we were all flipping out, only to have him come back past us still going strong.

As big as he is into sim racing, it would be interesting to know if he's at least given it a try. He does seem to be mostly an oval guy in iRacing though so LFS probably doesn't have much appeal to him.
I don't think that's his home setup, pretty sure I've seen it in videos and he has ECCI or something, it wasn't a G25. I don't even think that's Junior, he doesn't wear glasses.

Sucks, I hope its not like that with the Corvette as well. I am not too interested in the road side right now but was planning on doing those races more once the Corvette is out. Right now I'm only C for road and oval anyway so I haven't had much trouble finding races.

I swear the fanboyism over there is some of the worst I've seen. Not that I'm complaining about the Corvette, I was pretty sure it wouldn't be out by this time anyway, I was hoping for end of the season though.
There was some whining a week or two ago about the lack of drivers in A/B class races especially on the road side, of course the iRacing devs didn't make any mention of how they're going to fix the problem.
