Vettel as you say is a race driver no doubt but he also had almost another 20 laps to get it done cleanly and i think he would have, what happened in that race was clearly a red mist situation and his right foot was doing all the thinking..

It was a stupid ill concieved pass and if what there saying on Autosport that MW was told to turn his fuel settings down while Seb was told to turn his up it makes the pass even more retarded as he would of have the straight line advantage .

I have a G25 and a pad and tbh most of the time i use the pad as its ready to go when i feel the need which isnt much .

A wheel bolted to a desk and a set of plastic pedals on the carpet does not make a sim , your mind makes it a sim if you believe your racing a real car then everything else is just window dressing.

I cant see why people are so eager to ban this and that, pads/mice dont infringe on your enjoyment so why get bent out of shape over it?

Last year was excellent racing for the most part i just cant understand how the FIA could imagine adding 160+kilos of weight to the cars could possibly make the racing better.

The only thing they have succeeded to do is slow the cars down i guess for a large part of the race which the governing bodies have been trying to do for ages.

I hope the cars over heating if they follow to close to one another can be fixed too as that will really screw up the racing bigtime.

There's no need to pine for the "Old Days" as not a lot has changed , if you look at it from someone that picks this sim up every few there very little difference.

Drifting and Cruising would seem to be the biggest impact , running around Blackwood today isn't much different than back in 2004 .

Theres still the fun of bouncing into the stratosphere if you hit someone or a barrier, boggles the mind that it hasn't been fixed in five years and counting..
