When you are in the pits, making a pitstop, and get a drive through penalty, you are stuck forever as your pitstop doesnt end. This was seen in the 24h race. The penalties were given by admins with /p_dt username.
euhhh I didnt say a word in English did I? :P
Well anyways, I guess there is a lot confuzion going on, so im gonna give you an idea:
ORION / Frank / (me! haha) - head orga, together with Chrinaeg.
Actuall I only wanted to make the website, but somehow it turned out that I had to do most of the things in the end... anyways
Mika Radmer - the guys who moderated the stream all the time!
THANKS and CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who participated, to all the guys who helped out as admins or marshalls, to all racers, to all people doing the amazing broadcasts, to... everyone
We will be using the old setting for the 24h race, which were present when the drivers have chosen their car. This is the only fair thing we can do, because otherwise everyone will say its not fair to change the settings afterwards. I dont want Scawen to make the decision who will win the race
So, people have chosen themselves.
FXR - 0kg
XRR - 50kg
FZR - 100kg
Actually, XRR and FXR are very equal with those settings.
In LFS you dont pit because of the fuel, you never even reach the capacity limit because the tyres dont last long enough. Actually all tyres are the same, the ones with the higher numbers just get hot slower.
+1 for 90kg
@Flotch:
For the 24h race, FXR and XRR seem to be very equal right now. The FZR is maybe 0.3 seconds slower.
And if the FZR can really do 3 laps more, its evel as its now i'd say (now = like in W24)
soo... as reported in the technical assistance forum, there seems to be a new and different version of the old bug in patch W (no occurencies in W9 yet I guess). Aparently it only happens in XP ServicePack1, and not in Vista.
[EDIT]apparently also with XP ServicePack2[/EDIT]
Another small bug can be seen when viewing the jumping car in the TV camera: the frustum culling is done in a wrong way - polygones disappear even though they should be visible. Looks like the camera smoothing isnt taken into account for the frustum.
not if the domain was not already registered. if it was not, it will cost as much as any other regular net-domain. it will of course be expensive when you try to buy an already-registered 3-char Domain from someone who has only the slightest idea of what the value of these domains is. Sort of trying to buy the domains de.vu or dl.am from their current owners
yea, but all 3 char domains are already registered
