It's actually a great car to get to know the tracks. In the MRT you will learn the difference between curbstones and curbstones very fast because it won't forgive you if they are to high. It's also great to learn how to catch the car when it starts to spin when you go over the limit. Because of the small wheelbase you have to react very fast when that happens but with the low speeds of the car it's doable.
I don't know, if they made an MRT5 with one gear, less plastic and big bumpers around it i would believe it is a kart.
Does anyone still play this? I now have the 2009 Petersbild 386 with almost 300 miles driven on it (one time overhauled, second one is on it's way). I only need the Legendary game activity achievement and then I have them all for the USA.
I think that those options will be more limited with the next patch, since the VW will introduce limited setups and they want to keep everything as realistic ass possible.
I think races will be more fun too, since it's a beginner car. I think all the S1 roadcars should have limited setups.
It's difficult indeed. With some practise i can now drive and chat, but the problem is I also brush my teeth and shave while racing. But if I push the buttons on the keyboard with the back of my toothbrush i can manage it.
You will get some topics like release the LX 8 and the Miami track for a few ages. That's all
It would be nice to read about coming updates (or canceled updates), but i can understand they don't want to do it. It both has it's advantages and disadvantages.
Now you have people complaining the website hasn't been updated for 6 months and asking if the VW is done yet. If you do release info you will get threads about canceled updates, delayed updates. People will open threads about it either way. It would be possible to give the moderators more instructions to keep things positive, but that would give strange discussions too. People will then open threads about freedom of speech and communism The devs just can't please everyone, no matter what they do or communicate.
I don't think you are right about LFS dieing and us seeing that right now, but there will come a day development will stop. I hope the moddscene will then take over, like it happens in some other games (not especially rFactor).
