I could start modding if lfs would allow it. I can use 3ds max and I can model, unwrap and create textures. On the texture front I am still in the basic stage but i am still learning and developing my skills. Only problem I have now is that my camera is busted so I can't take any photos which make my texturing rather difficult. I prefer to model in low polys rather than high but if required i can do both.
I can also animate and setup character rigs.
I have done some basic track modelling in the past too but i am quite a newbie on that front but I will would learn if the time came.
I was already thinking of what mods I would like to make for lfs if it ever becomes open to mods.....
I have fixed the great lakes issue, I can't believe I didn't notice that before. I have also fixed a few things bbman pointed. I tried to fix the barge boards but due to the way the car is unwrapped and the way the map is layed down I am afraid there is little I can do to fix it unless I re-do the whole car.
If you spot any other mistakes please do let me know though. Will hapilly fix it.
Ok. Here are the final versions of the BF1 Honda Earth skin.
Check it out, I have fixed some of the major graphic bugs.

Update
Fixed earth on wing bug
Wireframe showing in places fixed
2/7/07 - More bugs fixed, there should now not be any speckles of earth on the back of the car.
Fixed the 3 versions of the great lakes
Fixed right rear view mirror
Aligned better the map on the top left of the side pod.
I am still fixing a few things, hope to release the final version today after a few busy days with other things. Will try and fix it as much as I can but I think after my next release it will be final.
Hehe.. you obviously haven't read much prior to your purchase
I have waited 3 years for the game! I've known about it for a long long time. I've read so much on Chernobyl and the accident and how the game relates.
There are a number of areas based on the real exclusion zone. Pripyat, the Chernobyl NPP, lot of the factories Agroporm etc.. They are all based on the real area.
The game is very atmospheric and in some areas damn spooky! Some of the underground secret labs were very spooky with poltergeist around and floating objects. Probably the most atmospheric game that I have played.
The AI are quite clever but there are also many bugs in their behaviour and indeed the game. Nevertheless though I think the game is amazing.
Yesterday a new Stalker game has been announced for Q1 2008 which will be a prequel to the current Stalker. Explaining some of the story which was unclear, like why Strelok was in a death truck at the start of the game. Quite looking forward to it....
Not to worry, I will fix it all. I have a free day today so will see.
Thanks Sponge for pointing those out for me, i just didn't see all those little tweaks but I am surprised I didn't find the hole on the front of the nose...
Sorry.. i can't see it either. Could you point it out for me with a circle or something? I have just spotted a small mapping error on the front wing where you can see a squarish dark blue area on the ocean. Will edit the skins but please Sponge.... point out the wireframe for me. The wireframe glitch was quite annoying, i rubbed out the main underlaying layer which exposed the wireframe. Quite annoying....
OK here is the skin, I hope you like it. I checked it for all mapping mistakes so there should not be any major errors but if you stumble across any that you would like me to fix then please let me know and I will fix them asap. I've just been staring at it for too long now to spot them myself.
enjoy
