The first side profile picture it isn't too bad, just seems a little out of proportion. Every picture after that though I think I did a little bit of sick in my mouth.

Hamilton did have to overtake alot of cars and yes he finished 2 seconds behind Button but Button drove the race he needed. Why push for a 40 - 50 second lead when you will be taking life out of your tyres and you don't need too. Also I suspect that somewhere towards the end of the race both Button and Hamilton were told to hold position and not race, therefore Button could cruise comfortabley knowing he wasn't going to be passed.

When hustling a car I do think Hamilton is quicker, Button doesn't seem to have it in him to do that. If both having a good day then over one lap I think Hamilton would still be quicker (though I know qualifying proves the opposite but this is just my opinion.) Over the race distance though, with Button being better on his tyres then I think Button is probably the quickest.

On the subject of Lewis being a person vs product. The problem is it is people persons opinion on it, but for my 2 cents. In my opinion, I don't see how you think Lewis is a product Tristan. Yes Lewis tows the corporate line but no more than any other driver does. He is happy when he wins, admits when he does something wrong and moans when the car is sh*t. Admitadly though there have bee the lies to tarnish his record but overall he is just a proffesional IMO.

On the Button / Hamilton battle though. On a good weekend for both, I am not sure who would win. On a bad weekend then Hamilton I think will always win. I look forward to the race though where both Button and Hamilton have a good weekend to see who come out on top. I do agree with Tristan though about Button being as exciting as Hamilton though.

You say that like a bad thing, though I suspect you don't mean it as one. I agree though that most of the bumps etc wont be noticed so much due to bumps being felt through your bum not through the steering wheel which ofcourse lfs doesn't simulate.

I can understand the idea of this and it is a good idea in theory (like socialism is a good idea in theory.) Seeing the discussions on this bill though it does seem some of the information used it skewed slightly. As yet I have not seen or found anywhere that states how the loss for the the music industry is calculated because it could be (and I suspect it is) grossly over exagerated. Back to the actual bill though, the question is really why? The public don't want it, the ISP's don't appear to want it and the only people who do is the music/film industry it seems. Which then asks the question of do we have such a weak government that bows down the problems of business segments. With the problems of illegal sharing being argueably being increased by the same market segment complaining.

Overall though, I sort of see the point but it is worthless as so many loop holes have already been found.

Wet race is a good thing and if too wet hopefully we will get some spectacular wheather again.

Without getting into this debate too much and I admit I have not looked to see any further information on this either. However, without knowing the full details of the factors leading to the decision for Hamilton to pit. Was it a team order or did Hamilton have some say in the decision. It did look like the right decision though, as he was stuck behind Kubica and with new rubber he was going so much faster. Just shows the trouble with F1 though, a car that ~2 secs a lap faster could not pass the car in front.

As much as chuck norris is well chuck norris, i voted for who I actually think would win which is Mr Seagul lol.

Slight repeat of what has been said above but I would assume that there is enough people who play LFS who have bought into the 'indie' development route over the mass market one and for this do understand the time delays. So maybe it is more that there is enough people on these forums who think in the same way as Scavier and so are happier to wait.

I will also say, while I have no idea about programming I have done my fair share of CAD modelling and you get looks of people of "it took you how long!?!" So while I don't understand programming I can appreciate how long things can take to do, and to do properly.

Huh? As I sort of started the time of the race conversation. I meant it as it is causing problems for the drivers. I am for excitement but if the drivers are being blinded by the sun it is stupid and there is an easy fix.

Also I don't think anyone was moaning about it, more joking about the funny things about getting up at 3 am to watch it. I have done it for aboutt he apst 10 years or so and will continue to do so even if I do get funny looks lol.

Call me a pedant for this but, that isn't so. Nothing to report could me, as I suspect it does, that work is being done but due to problems it isn't really advancing. Also if the same work is being done as the last progress report then there isn't anything to report. One of the worst to watch due to the time but has been worth it in the past. It it stupid though that they have left the later start time as they drivers were/are complaining about the low sun affecting the visibility. While I am all for a 'deal with it' approach to problems, something like seems pointless. What was really wrong with the earlier time.

Either way, hopefully the McLaren and Mercedes will run better to give a real fight with Ferrari and Red Bull.

Instal the logitech drivers from the link above
Make sure the clutch is set to an axis in LFS
Click the clutch and press the peddle to assign that axis tot he clutch.

Racing underground could be the best place for you, there are quite a few people on there from here but as mentioned getting an invite it difficult. As far as I know you get 2 and thats it which unfortunately I have given mine out. If though I am wrong and you get anymore I will send you one, though I will have to wait until I am home to check this.

There is another site too, similar to racing underground, but not such a big community. Which could be the site JCTK is on about, unfortunately the rules of the site is that I can putt he name here, will PM/MSN you the link Chrisuu01 when I am home later.

Errr why? While I agree that cracks for lfs should not be really mentioned, if you have already bought a licence there I don't see what the problem is. I remember admiting on here that I cracked lfs to play single player at uni because the uni pc's wouldn't connect to the master server to unlock (before anyone asks, I was already licenced at the time)

I understand the frustration of nothing new but there is plenty of other games to play (apart from lfs and iRacing or racing at all) but no-one and nothing is forcing you to play other games. You may have saturated yourself with lfs so want something, in which case take a break but it is up the individual. Nothing there is down to the lack of updates. On the subject of new content new buzz, if people are truely that fed up of lfs then while the new content will be good, it would soon return to 'normal'. So maybe the patch is release, your team mates play lfs but 3 months later they still end up back at iRacing / NKP / GTR etc.

While I don’t disagree that the lack of updates is a shame, and I can agree with your point about the gtr interiors and rockingham (I must of missed the part where it was announced that rockingham is finished.) However, you moan about 3 more of your team leaving to go play iRacing which begs some questions for me. Firstly even if/when they do you could continue the team anyway and have it more as clan over multiple racing sims could you not? Even if they leave, are you saying that they will not return when the patch comes out? And finally, are you really saying that one new track and a few new interiors would convince those who are leaving to stay?
