Ahh don't be so hard on him Moose, how's netcar these days
GT is an arcade Console game and I should know I raced it for 8 years lol no PC back then
but he is spot on with the graphics of LFS - old school but very slick, not like these other sims that look like something out of photoshop thats had the colour saturation turned up to meltdown
and I'm not referring to GT.
but still 6/10
Try comparing it with some sims like for like ( rFactor, Netcar Pro, GT2 ) otherwise your on the course for a flaming
To make the setting out of new layouts possible I would like to see an auto grid overlay implemented where the user can set the grid size from a slider bar as with the other options.
Also it would be good if some more Objects were added such as Rumble Strip Curbs and Armco Barriers.
Also If there was an option when placing Objects to work in only 4 directions IE 0, 90, 180 and 360 degrees with an auto inline snap that can be enabled so objects ( Of the same type ) will snap together perfectly.
If these improvements could be implemented it would allow us make the whole process much easier and faster.
I ran a test race in the FXR Pro setting 12 Car Race - 10 laps of AS6R mandatory pit ON starting from back of grid . When overtaking Ai as I get ahead they slam on the brakes and drop back 50m (Yeilding ? ) and then on lap 7 80% of the cars pitted with myself, I was leading and pulled into my stall only to be shunted out of it by an Ai taking my place the race went pretty well considering the other cars pitted early due to crashes ect. This was the first race I had run them My best lap was a 2:39 and the Ai Best lap was 2:45
I won by a sec and a half as I had to do a drive through
