Damn so my B and J points are watered down due to the number of drivers from Wales ..... something Fishy going on here, hardly fair as I worked darn hard for them ........ you try racing clean for that many races
Shouldn't the individual tables go by the total points across all 3 disciplines CTRA, SS and B and J cause as it is now it is going by CTRA points only.
Just wondering as this would put me ontop of Becky Err I'll rephrase that...... above Becky
Insim allows us to have more variety and choice CTRA being the obvious example but one of the great new functions is being able to restrict the cars producing multiple classes and we are in the early days of experimentation, such events as MOE and the new UF Owners Club Baby-R series are only now just starting to experiment with this function and given a little more time and development will IMO produce some of the best online racing to be found on the net.
Then there is the CTRA User interface which I'll leave to someone else
Hi Jakg if you have time can you render these for me please usual size 1280 x 1024 Cheers
A bit of a concoction this one a mix of Scalextric/The Italian Job/Whacky Races - Hence The Team Name (Team Mean Machine) this came about as Richy used to race under the monicker of Dick Dastardly and suited this series down to a tee
After running the last Bott round GF in the GTR's I'm definately up for this as I have found that the tintops are more my thing, also I am sure a few of the other [HR] drivers will be interested as we seem to have a hardcore GTR group forming through CTRA
Will you be having 2 car teams entering also with privateers, could give it an extra little interest as in real tintop racing with drivers and Constructors Championship
No worries Niels as I totally agree with Paul on his last post as my experience in Bott will testify sometimes it is best just to hang back driving just within your comfort zone especially in longer races and for the most part last night I was racing within my limit, hence the fact out of 13 races I finished last night, I was on the Podium 12 times and I believe I DNF'd a total of 3 times last night that do not show on LFS world.
So consistancy is the key as always, but this should not mean you can have a bit of fun in the process by partaking in a few dices with your fellow racers and yes from time to time there is going to be one or two instances where mistakes are made and when they do occour I am sorry as it breaks the immense fun to be had for all parties concerned like the other instance when I got a little too close to Paul coming out of the last at aston only to have our bumpers momentarily hook up and spin Paul out, luckily enough we were so far ahead I was able to let Paul recover and we still finished 1 - 2
BTW I'm not that nieve to realise that on most tracks atm I'm half a second or so slower than you Mercury guys but that does not mean I'm going to let you have it easy
So to the future and more of the same cause these Baby-R's are great.
See thats where I differ from you Mercury guys as I would rather use the races as if they were a real league race and practice my race craft, speed comes with experience of any combo and times will gradually fall, granted hotlapping will have this effect also but I can do that offline TBO and I will extensively for the week leading upto the league race.
I'm not saying that one way is better than the other as it is up to the individual to find what works for them, It's just two ways to get to where we need to be come race day
But I think I have more FUN
And if you are referring to this as Dick driving, I believe it's a typical example of a Hotlapper getting offline and not being able to cope all in all though the standard is much better compared to 2 weeks ago and i will race with you guys anytime
