I am talking about on the exit from the chicane where you clip the kerb,it must be in bounds to have to have been accepted in hotlaps
its still a step in the right direction though
bish
as i have said before graphically an excellent job but those kerbs are horrible and pretty much ruin blackwood
With over 50.000 laps on the old blackwood alone i cant see myself adjusting, if the historic blackwood was 100% original then it would not be to bad
graphically its a nice improvement but i know that many regular fbm drivers will not like the big wedge of a kerb on the chicane.
Huge difference in lap times due to it
Very informative video MicroSpecV. Nice control on that last corner
Would you mind if i share the video on our forum (Mrc). Full credits to you will be given
I can guarantee you that not all demo servers are as bad as you make them out to be. Yeah you may get racers who have the intention to go and crash but a good admin eventually learns what to look out for and prevent it from happening and if there is admin present all you do is report them on the servers forums.
I know many good demo racers who race clean and fair on our servers and continue to do so because we do our best to keep crashers out
the online multiplayer system is one of the strong points for sure, as well as the whole graphical interface, welcome to lfs and look forward to racing sometime hopefully
fanboyism may not fill servers but such comments that constantly put lfs down would only make them emptier. Great graphics should never become more important that physics in a racing sim so little things like interiors are not important and as for real tracks yeah they would be great if added but not essential
would it not then do it on all installations of windows 10 or is it only on certain builds. I am running windows 10 pro x64 ver 1511 and have lfs and programs such as ccleaner installed
there was a patch after 1511 which may of contained a fix for the bug hence why i have not suffered such a problem
do you have any anti-virus software that has a sandbox feature such as comodo internet security suite ? if so it could be installing it into sandbox which then would be gone afterwards.
If not then its certainly a strange case, i have had no such problems on windows 10
was having a good read until you somehow decided that saying ""Evans had brought along the staff from his local curry" is pc racism. it may be racist to say any sentence as such is offensive in any shape or form
ps3 gamepad is so much better for control ect in lfs and is easy to setup using motionjoy, just grab the offline version, ive driven nearly 100.000 laps using one and even now il use one instead of my g27 for fbm bl1
blackwood fbm is one of the current combo's which is mostly used and many are happy with being able to drive that all the time and have no incentive to buy a licence which I agree does not help with progress ect of lfs
I know many that would rather buy a license if it meant after a period of time them losing stats due to a time limit being in place
I know it might not be fair on all as it must be remembered that some users are younger children or in other circumstances that mean they cannot pay
what part of "only tested with" do you not understand, you obviously have no idea how wheels/controllers are detected and work on a pc, as long as your pc recognises it as a wheel/controller then it will in game. Sometimes and with some wheels it may be only be detected as a xbox360 controller (thrustmaster Ferrari 458+ 458 cockpit for example)
If you read the post on the Logitech forum explaining this it states that some games will not have a DEFAULT profile for the wheel and means you would have to set the wheel yourself so wont be "out of the box" playable meaning you may need to make a custom wheel profile in game
"When users install their wheels on the PC they will install Logitech Gaming Software which provides a fully functional driver for Windows. When developers include devices like G920 and G29 in their game to work out of the box, this is called a default profile. This should not be confused with profiles in Logitech Gaming Software. This default profile is integrated by the developer and is not related to the Windows driver for the wheels. This developer supported default profile allows the game to see the wheel and assign the appropriate keys and axis values to work well with the game out of the box without user configuration"
(source - http://forums.logitech.com/t5/Logitech-G-Controllers/G29-G920-Profiles-Information/td-p/1491562)
The list of games are only a list of games they have tested with the wheel but you will also notice it states that it will work with any games that support Logitech force feedback wheels.
Also if you look the list it names more pc games than xbox games and finally I struggle to find where it says "limited" but will also add my eyesight is not what it used to be so please enlighten
bish
EDIT : If you mean where they state it works with selected titles then it they can only claim it works with them due to only having tested with them so need cover there own backs
Also they are saying that older games do not have default profiles for the wheel(use out of the box) but that does not stop you from using the wheel and it may mean you have to set it up as a custom wheel for now
