I really like the 2nd one!

You should get out there today and get a few shots... there's soo much snow (needed one and a half hour to get to holderbank :razz!

Thanks! But do you mean the 2nd of the 2 big ones or the 2nd of all 4 attached?

And yeah, I'd love to get out again and catch the fluffy white stuff on my sensor, if I had some gloves... Man, After 2.5 hours outside yesterday my fingers were so frozen, I had to ram my fist against the buttons to press them, since my fingers were lifeless ice popsicles. Even better was when it got dark and I couldn't even see where the buttons were!

But it sure paid off! I'm liking alot of the 134 shots I took yesterday.
I mean the 2nd of all four.

And yeah... gloves do help in the wintertime... hehe!
Decided to give HDR photography a try with my D40 and 8 different exposures of 1 stop increments (+ & -). My trusty camera bag was my model.

Although the photo dynamics may look subtle, it's technically impossible to shoot this photo with one exposure, even today's cameras have very limited dynamic range. Multiple exposures blended within one is essential to get something like this.

I'm planning to do some HDR shots outside as well, probably tomorrow. There's alot of snow right now, that would make an awesome HDR shot!

thats one sexy looking camera bag, is it single?
Nice HDR Sam!

Thank God you didn't make it look like a cartoon like most people.

Here's a few from a couple of years ago with my old Nikon D70.<<<Still love this camera.

had a D70 till it got stolen...
Yeah it's single. But c'mon! It's sporting adventure colors and adventure texture and everything. Ready to take out an elephant or 5. It basically screams it's masculine. You still want it?
i love masculinity.. the secret is sam.. i'm just working on your bad to get to you...

Edit: post 1500!
Some shots I totally forgotten about until I imported them in to the software tonight....

A few from this past summer at the fair. Lately I have a thing for processing stuff the way I processed these. Wires everywhere in the first two, LOL. I hate stinkin electrical wires.

#962 - Don
Spectacular Don. I love hockey and I need to get to a game that I can get down low and shoot.
Was out yesterday trying some pans and other stuff. Pans are pretty hard, expecially when you're constrained for space. So a big shout out to Don for his in-focus rally photos!

Probably my fav. motion shot from the day, even though the truck got in the way

Love this one, even with the blur on the bike/rider. That's what makes the photo.

This one is very bad for a panning shot. None of the background is showing any motion blur at all!

Come on folks, this thread is the last remaining string that keeps me tied to LFS. I don't race, I don't smoke pot anymore so I can't use that thread. The camera thread is the only one keeping me coming to the LFS forum, hehe.

Why don't you race anymore?
Quote from mrodgers :Wheel broke, me broke. No wheel, no race.

Bummer!! Logitech DFP GT is cheap and an excellent wheel if you come by $100 at Christmas.
i hope you wont kill me for so many photos...

You'll be more than happy with both of those!! Same cameras I have and both can give spectacular results in the right hands.
I'm still searching for the right hands but someday I'll find them

Hey, you can send it down here to see if my hands are the right ones

Until I get some actual photos processed for upload (busy processing the kid's birthdays, Thanksgiving here, and Christmas of the kids for the wife's albums) here are a few fun ones. Gave my kids the camera and went for a ride looking at lights. Every time they hit the shutter, I heard from the back seat, "oooohhhh, Fireworks!" LOL

First three favorites and links for the others. I named the photos this time.

Spagetti Confetti
