MEGAPOST

Two weeks ago in 12 hours of Sebring: after 12 hours side-by-side on the finish line. Unbelievable!

Yesterday found some nice onboards from Le Mans...

Mazda 787B in 1991:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=ceKixXx5Rj8 (too bad the sound quality )

Toyota GT-One in 1999:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=1o6kKoNSrnI

Mercedes-"Airborne"-Benz CLR in 1999:

Colin McRae's Ferrari 550 in 2004:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=zGcQooF6tIc

Luc Alphand's Corvette in 2006:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=ELTzQg0uvOQ

Found also these Super GT onboards... with good sound quality:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=oV6vFeT_KRI

(^ at least japanese know how to amount the onboard cams, not like in FIA GT, DTM or whatever where the camera is mounted at the dash, infront of the windscreen. I thought the idea of incar camera was to show the driver at work!)

And lastly... Porsche 956 <3, Spa '83:

(plus same car at Mosport, at Nords and at Le Mans - but I bet these have been posted in this several times so... but I had not seen that Spa lap before)

enjoy

Those go like stink. When I was watching those vis, especially the Mosport one, you get the kind of "cold sweat" when the driver floors it. It's a bit similar feeling like you get when you drive a 2000bhp XRT in LFS. It is like, press the throttle and, woosh, 200mph!

Nice vids
"repost"... I have at least once posted this video here but my account & all the vids got deleted (too many copyright notices) some weeks ago, so I uploaded this again.

Maybe it's not the best sounding car ever but at least it's best sounding onboard video I have ever seen... :hypnotize
The car sounds great, but it sounds like he isn't heel and toeing it. Too bad people let him rape the car
Sounds like a V10. Edit: But it's an inline 5, which still sounds like a V10.
It sounds like a Cortina in need of a service when it's idling, but by gee when it revs.... audio heaven.
Here are few more, althou I think the best sounds was in one the muscles I posted earlier

The track has a more corners than all the LFS tracks together

It's difficult (if not impossible) to pick a single "best sounding" engine for me. This one certainly would be up there though
This sound is just overkill :

Renn.tv has a nice new onboard video. It's from the MSpeed Cayman during the qualifying for the latest VLN race on the Nordschleife, following the Aalzen Motorsport Cayman. Click.
I wonder how the Caymans will develop in the VLN.

If you don't know the other Renn.tv videos yet, head for the download-section there.

That renn.tv has nice vids but also pretty weird way of keeping bandwidth bills at low level... I mean that email thing. And once I uploaded renn.tv onboard to youtube and it got removed for "copyright reasons"... even that you could download the same video from the website for free.
I think that's because the renn.tv videos are free for advertising reasons. RennTV also sells DVDs. they want you to know who to thank for those free onboard videos so you know where to go to get other videos on DVD.

It may also be a legal problem concerning the agreement under which RennTV was allowed to offer those videos. But after all there is few to complain. I love RennTV.
