Opened this thread to type the same thing, best headphones I've ever owned. Light, open so they don't hurt your ears after prolonged use. Have mine on most nights and hardly notice.
O rry, that simple? How do you propose they fix the car headlights to actually show where the driver is going? Turn the lights up? What about in a 32 multiplayer server, trying to keep FPS at a playable level for the people with **** computers. 32 cars with their own lights being drawn on a track. The lag would drive you insane.
Oh and how do they light the track if the lights are off? Turn the lights back on again?
What is the issue then? Surely the only thing that's needed is hosting. And you've got a rather expensive host as it is. Not entirely sure why you're doing it this way. Their are better ways of monetizing a website than begging.

Alternatively, drive single player until you know the cars and tracks. Then join multiplayer...

Just noticed you tried joining cargame.nl, replace all the standard dds files and you'll connect fine.
As has already been stated, Demo Racers can't upload skins to LFSW for other people to see. To get around this, buy a license, it's not very much.

In before the bans. I'm pretty sure the game you're describing is just a mix between Midnight Club and Need For Speed. The first one was a load of arse. The second one started well. But turned into a load of arse. Imo, of course. I'm sure someone here loves both games...
Multiplayer "careers" or "goals" to reach aren't fun. Especially when that goal is something that makes it easier for you to win. Therefore you win more. That's not fun. That's just annoying. I like the fact I have to concede a place in this game because someone behind me is obviously quicker than me off of a certain turn, but I'm quicker in the next turn so take the place back. Rinse/repeat for every lap we're racing.
You should try joining the Crui... Oh wait you don't have an S2 license. Nevermind enjoy single player.

The thing you need to know about LFS is the cars do handle differently and behave differently depending on how you drive them. This isn't Need for Speed.
You mentioned you went sliding off and he didn't. His tyres may have been at an optimum temperature. Pressing F9 on your keyboard will display the temperatures for each wheel. Blue is cold, Green is Optimum, Red is hot. The thin band at the top of the wheel is the surface temperature. The thick block of colour is the actual tyre temperature.
Keeping it in the green will give you the best grip. You start losing grip if you go beyond green.
The LX6 is a notoriously difficult car to master. Simply because it is so twitchy. The reason it flings you off the track is because, you put too much lock going into the turn, the back stepped out, you then went to counter steer it. And (I'm assuming) lifted off the throttle. This meant the rear wheels stopped sliding, and you then started turning in the direction of your wheels. (i.e, into the wall)
I would suggest getting a few setups for each car.

You'll see on the left, Download All Setups. Just extract all of those into your LFS>Data>Setups folder. You'll see a few in there already. You'll need to tweak one or two of them. As some of the XFR sets are designed for qualifying. So will have a tyre that has a lower optimum temperature. Find a set you like. If you want to edit it a little to suit your cruising needs then you can always do that.
I have no idea what the optimum FFB settings are. I drive Keyboard, always have, seem to get on alright.
