Intel Racing Tour have finally landed in Poland

From what I have heard, the concept is similar to german's edition. You have to drive 2 laps in BF1 on Aston National and best lap counts (so really only the second one). Of course, the main price is connected with Robert Kubica, as authors of best lap times from 5 cities around Poland, will have an occasion to meet with him at karting circuit. There are also some high-end computers from Intel to be given for the fastest womens, that will take part in competition.

I think barriers are not a problem for most racers. You have to avoid them, just like a grass or high curbs on normal tracks.

One of the problem that is often mentioned by the people on the server, are FPS. Some layouts are really big and sometimes have to much spare objects in my opinion (like tyre stacks inside every corner at The Maze layout). Also the first race 9 laps lenght 'bug' is scaring people from staying on the server.

Most fun and good racing you can see at quite simple and not objects overloaded layouts. Wobblyoval is a great example - so simple and so much fun! My favourites are ParkWay* and Figuratively combos because they provide great racing, and also PitOfDespair & BusterSprint2, due to crosses and jumps As for cars selection, I would say XRG and TBO's are the best for this kind of driving. LX4 is too tricky and light (easy to push into a barrier), so would be the LX6 propably. What about MRT5? It's a car destinated to be used on autocross...

Anyway, I would like to say "thank you" for the BnJ server, as racing on the layouts can be great, and no-one did server with that many layouts before

Team history & league results: team founded in spring 2006 by Polish racers. With a small website and forum section @ liveforspeed.pl, we are just a group of people having fun together We all did partipicate in Polish LFS League and some of us joined international competitions. That isn't a problem, because I can overwrite/upload files into FTP. Even when the server owner/administrator have changed the Ply name line, after restarting the dedi it was still saying "host". Seems that dedi overwrites the files automatically after relaunch

However, when I downloaded all the stuff from the server with settings etc and run it, then it showed the text which I had entered in Ply name line. Maybe something is wrong with the server?

Yea, I did change the Ply name and then after restarting the dedi it's still says "host" instead of what I had entered

How can I change the default "host" text at the top of connections list (the N key) on dedicated server? Looks like something have changed since version V, because earlier it was enough to edit "Ply name" line in cfg.txt, now it doesn't works I searched the forum and LFS manual, but didin't find answer.

Not nice to see posts like this above mine, the community lost its friendly and warm atmosphere since S1 times

It seems to me, that Hoellesen is generally a bit jealous that STCC is getting more interest than MoE. But do you really care about that? STCC is intended to be a friendly and "easy to use" league as I see, using the road cars only. MoE has another policy - it uses race cars and do long races which contains serious racing. Both leagues are great in their own way - MoE for giving a professional racing and STCC for giving a lot of fun

And I think that most people will agree, that MoE is the most professional race series in LFS World. STCC is more friendly and open for public, so maybe thats why these threads can be posted in this section.

That was my first start in LXCC, (as I took Kamo's place in K&m racing) and it was quite fun

Qual didin't go well due to that crappy evening conditions, which makes visibility worse I had missed entrance of a long corner coming from oval onto the track and gone off the proper driving line. Anyway, we had 1,5 hours to fight for better position so I didin't care at all.

Race began well for me, as I had to flight with Scoop and bozo, but they didin't make a problem for long. After few laps, together with Tyrion, I got closer to Tristan and then Lars started to fight for 2nd place in LX4 class. Unfortunately Tristan's car had a small lag, and Tyrion spun out. On the next lap T7R driver has gone to wide at first corner and I didin't have any problem to take 2nd place. Rest of the race was a bit boring, because the gap between me and filur was almost the same all the time - until the last lap.

Here Oxygene's and maczo's LX6 were coming and I was driving on the oval part of the track, but Nylander did hit my car's rear - sorry, if it was my fault. But I think you had enough space to overtake me safely Anyway nothing disastrous happened, as we both drove to the finish line on the places we had before accident.

Thx everyone for race and axus for organising the event Only qual should have gone a bit smoother - I don't think that big gaps as 30 secs are needed, even one racer has to let him pass by the another one, who was on his flying lap due to these long gaps. Hope I will have other occasion to take part in LXCC again

Yes, I had noticed the same thing in U19 (haven't try any earlier U test patches) When green light comes on, the car in front don't move and I always drive to side because I think that the driver in front is afk. Then (LAG x.x) shows and a while later this car is moving ahead.

Thx for the P10 patch, nice that official polish translation is finally included However, i have found some bugs in it, how can i help with sorting them out? Should i contact author of the original translation or post/send an improved version of polish.txt file?

There were AI players stats on old version of LFS World (before S2 release). He/she/it has the best online stats overally, but it was unachievable for human players. That was propably stats summary of all AI players running on online servers. Hovewer, seems that AI statistics disappeared on the new LFS World version for S2.
