NFS Shift videos

Works Z06 (tires 30 psi, geared for 182mph), at Nordschleife, quad view:

While making these videos, I noticed that there's a "lens" effect, the perimeter of the view is subtly darkened. The video effect is similar to the dirt accumulation effect used in GTR series, but in this case it's being used for a "lens" effect.
anyone successfully disabled the bloom by editing the graphicconfig xml?

It doesn't seem to have an effect on mine.
From Audi R8 suspension physics file:

//Suspension Geometry file NFS PS2 Generic A-Arm

I knew that.
Quote from Hotdogxx60 :I downloaded the demo but I can't get it to work, it goes to load I get a black screen in the top lefthand corner and then the report the error to microsoft screen pops up.

I'm running a quad Q6600 with 3 gig of ram and a GTS 8800, my son loaded the same install on his computer that has less specs and it ran, although laggy.
Any ideas?

Have you tried my suggestion above?
Quote from Zero7 :Have you tried my suggestion above?

Thanks zero 7, but yes I have with no effect.

I had simular problems with COD 5 Demo, in the end I gave up and unistalled.

and that means?
I can't get my Saitek R440 working properly, the car in the game responses to my input too slowly, there is a short delay and I don't know how to fix it
all that have input lag...try disabling VSYNC, worked for me.
Christ - buggy menu system is a bit slack.

Game demo actually "runs" fine once on track even on my old'ish 9600GT, but the menu just goes haywire for no reason starts chattering away in the options like DDR. No visual/control settings get saved when you exit the game, I think it does that to force you to watch the game trailer after each race so you can't escape without loosing all the settings - BUT it tells you to restart game to change some graphics options. Freaking annoying man. 1 hour borking about with menus to have three races.

The input lag. Press look back and it takes literally like 1/2 a second to respond. Same goes for steering and pedal input and also when you press pause. Something really whacked-out there, the game runs smooth (indicating PC is ok) so thats just piss poor effort EA.
edit1: Ok RCG Boosted. I'll try turn off Vsync.
edit2: no difference. I'll try force disable vsync in the nVidia profiler.
edit3: still laggin it's arse off, kthxbia

I think the "world class physics" (yes it says that in the never ending sales pitch vid after each demo race) would get a bit old after about a week. Fun for a short time, but soon retired to the shelf. But I guess the upside is the arcade physics + input lag = hard to control type sim eh? It's a shame cause it's nice to look at when the cockpit isn't shaking and giving you a seizure.
I can't stop playing this game, it is so addictive! And I can't stop swapping cars, which means 50% of playing time is spent in the menus. 40% on racing, and 10% on getting online bugs. Still, here are my cars (for now)

They are now uber fast compared to what they were before. Only thing I dislike is the Works cars have no Nitrous oxide.
As I wrote last night, Here I put my video with the s2000 at Nürburgring, please read the description box before any criticism.
my s2000 just seems really bouncy when it starts to slide a bit :| Gave up on it and i'm now using an elise

I know. I had a s2000 even with a works kit, and it started under steering like hell. I hope they are not like that in real life.

Off topic: Dammit, all the best smilies have been hidden!

No. They are compressed to go on the EA site. when you get the game and you have a HDMI cable, you definately won't be disappointed.

Well for one, they're super compressed images.. aspect ratio is fooked.. Lol, and the PS3 version has a limited damage model compared to the Xbox and PC versions..

Currently uploading a small video of me drifting my S15

That is flipping annoying! oh well, it is not like the damage model on PC/xbox is rivalling What codemasters can do.

Someone forgot to check the release date.

I think that rather than wearing a chastity belt, simply writing "search button" on on their underoos would keep them untouched.

Uhm 15th and 17th..
Tried the Demo on my Laptop (MSI GX, Turion X2, Hd 2600) but it won't work, I manage to start a race but then when the light appear it starts lagging like hell and crashes, showing me a technical report. I even updated all drivers.
