I find it unbelievable that the drivers - who got all those championship points with an illegal (or a with-illegally-fetched-knowledge-constructed) car - are left unpunished!

You can say they didn't have anything to do with it, but at least Alonso knew. If he was to stay unblamed, he should have said "I'm not racing this car". And don't get me wrong; I'm not saying that's the obvious thing to do, I'm only saying that that would have been the only way for him to keep a clean sheet in this affaire... in my opinion he is to blame as much as the team is and the FIA is being ridiculous!

Could we please see the final applications list for the GT1 class?

I don't think there's really big prizes needed for people to take part in a well organised league with high-level racing. The most important issue is to keep the interest throughout the season.
I think one solution for this would be to not only give away prizes at the end of the season, but (also?) per race.
Another solution would be to not just give prizes to the winner or podium places of every race, but also to for example the highest climber (in the race, or in the championship standings), or maybe even a small prize for a random non-podium-finisher of the race... this will stimulate those not fighting for the race wins to keep coming back every race and will raise the league's attraction as a whole.

Edit: to answer the other questions
1) I wouldnt mind paying a small fee for a well-organized league.
2) One sprint and one main race with (top 8 or 10) reversed grids.
3) Prize money.

Just wanted to shamelessly plug my recent achievements in the selection round of the Dunlop Drivers Cup 2007, since part of the competition is to gain as much publicity as possible for the companies involved in the organisation...

I missed the race as I was at Circuit Zolder to watch the Masters of Formula 3... was awesome to see those passing manouvres and just to see the name N. Kiss like I've seen it in MoE many times before... seems like an awesome job there Norbi, many many congratulations!! And good luck for the future!

Couldn't this be done over pm? What's all this personal insulting lately, didn't expect this from you Tristan. Edit to clarify: didn't expect him to insult a well known member of the forum admins just because he did something he thought was good for the community...

Either way, I myself have also made the mistake to make a comment about J.B. and his demo account (and posting S2 content) once, so to avoid more misconceptions it would be nice to give him the S2 licensed tag. Or maybe J.B. could just use his license name to post on the forum..?

As much as I dislike Alonso, I think that move was perfectly fine - not brilliant, just brave - and there was no reason to leave the second apex open as Heidfeld wasn't there! No one's mentioned the scenario that Heidfeld had to choose the run-off area because he carried too much speed into the turn to make it through the outside line...?
