People cruising like to be able to glance up to see if people are coming toward them, or at cross streets. Generally people (cruisers) have used it for ages and are just used to it, and like it.
@Scawen - It seems that the track map wont rotate now. The option is still there but multiple people have confirmed that it does not rotate for them.

Are you saying that the new tire physics are related to editor functions, or that you wanted to update Eric's build a single time after you had both physics and editor functions ready? I'm a bit confused if the two are somehow linked or not.

I saw that he was still going for it but it was too late, I did locked up a bit, but he gave me absolutely no room to make the corner.

Bit late yeah. It was a pretty good race though, for most of us. 
About how long will the event last? There's a practice race for the final round of CityLiga starting at 20:00 UTC that day and I (and maybe some others) would like to do both events.

The final drive ratio also sets the maximum reverse speed, though I can't imagine that's useful for much.
Usually it's just because whatever set someone based a set on already had those gear ratios, so why change?
