I just visit the forum (way too often tbh) because well... it's the biggest and most active one I'm on
I don't care much for LFS anymore; having played other far better (IMO) sims has ruined LFS for me and I don't ever really see it getting back on top. Although I have to say that driving the LX6 on Cargame.nl has rekindled my interest just a bit
Don't care much for the patch and actually don't hold much hope of it greatly improving LFS.
Well, I honestly don't think you'll get much response here. I think there's only a handful of people here who own an ACT L shifter, and they'll probably still be using it so they need the adapter themselves. Have you looked on Ebay and Amazon and the likes?
Yeah, that's what I said a few posts back. If someone cares enough to really want to track your moves on the internet, they can do so regardless of which browser you use. People who think they're anonymous on the internet are deluding themselves. And people who think that Google (or any other multi million dollar company) actually care about their comings and goings on the internet are flattering themselves; you mean less than jack shit to them in the bigger scheme of things. But hey, I guess the saying "ignorance is bliss" applies here
Hmm, that's interesting. I don't suppose you notice any slowdown from this?
Thanks for that. There's no excuse for Google to have collected that information. On the other hand, if you're stupid enough to use unencrypted wireless networks... Doesn't say anything about Google Chrome transmitting any data though, so I'll stand by my point on that one.
Until I see these accusations confirmed from a somewhat respectable source I'll just dismiss them as scaremongering from ignorant folk (no offense intended whatsoever ).
What wireless vs. wired networks have to do with this I don't know, though.
Care to elaborate on what exactly it's "stealing"? I'm really curious. What can it possibly be "stealing" from my computer? What sites I visit? What searches I do on Google? Like I said: who cares. Anything else? And do you have any sources on that info? 'Cause I do have sources saying that Chrome doesn't send any remotely confidential information anywhere. Yes, you can choose to have it send usage statistics (and these are hardly confidential and anonymous anyway), but it's an option.
Is that the editor we (I) use on this forum to post? 'Cause that has worked fine for me since the first time I tried Chrome
You did get an answer in my first post, it was just subtly hidden in the smiley as I believe people should bother to read a thread properly if they wish to participate in the discussion at hand. You should have noticed when you quoted my post but I guess you didn't pay a lot of attention. I assumed you hadn't read the thread as the answer was given twice already in answer to the exact same question you posted
Oh noes, Google knows what sites I visit and what searches I do? Who the hell cares, seriously? It's not like your every move on the internet can't be tracked if you use any of the other browsers People these days are way too paranoid about stuff like this.
