as the thread title says im after a act labs usb adapter either the newr 3 in 1 or the older 2 in 1. this is for my act labs shifter. i would buy from act labs but $25 plus $12 for shipping is a bit pricey

If you have an ACT Labs shifter, how come you didn't get the adapter with it?

its the older model. bought second. its only usb using the rs wheel. so i need the separate adapter to make it independant

Well, I honestly don't think you'll get much response here. I think there's only a handful of people here who own an ACT L shifter, and they'll probably still be using it so they need the adapter themselves. Have you looked on Ebay and Amazon and the likes?
