If you don't want to use it, then don't use it. These things don't block you in any way, do they?! These options harm you, right? Maybe someone will need it and will use it well...
Try entering an outside range value while the selected 3D mode is already active (so not in the first small window, OK that, but on the main settings - view screen). If I enter an outside range value in that first window, LFS crashes.

I always disable the bloom effect in every game I play, because I don't like it and my computer can't handle it well, anyway. IMO every other improvements are welcome, as long as they are done really well.
Here we have an unusual problem . I selected the Mouse XY look function while in 3D (with more options already on-screen) that brought 2 more settings - not fitting on screen now.
EDIT: for those who don't get it, look at the bottom of my attachment. The button look setting is out of the screen.
Well, with the setting you described above, it worked perfectly, like with high screen width and higher IPD. Looks like while the screen width was the real value, the problem was the IPD.
Tried FOV 63° it was great, but with 86°, still is. My only and main problem is ghosting (well, don't know really if ghosting means this, but I can see some of the cyan colors with my "red eye", and vice versa).
Btw I don't have extremely low FPS with the red-cyan 3D mode, because it's still playable (enough for me). 3D - 39,2, while with 2D - 58 FPS on South City.
The mouse goes slower (=lags) a bit while in the 3D mode, as sermilan pointed out.
As pasibrzuch mentioned, I join him - the interior looks awesome in 3D!
And guys... "FPS get higher decreasing the screen size in window mode." is totally normal, as Daniel-Cro said it.
My FPS test results - see below. Tried the red-cyan 3D ... what can I say? It's awesome!
EDIT: I just don't understand Horizontal screen width. My screen is 44,2 cm wide. If I set that to 442 mm (which should be 44,2 cm), the 3D is so weird and unplayable. If I set it to 1442 mm, it's great. Am I missing something? My monitor: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfr ... =en&docname=c02022661
Will try out the red-cyan mode tomorrow. A quick check proved that it's working here. I will compare the FPS improvements when many cars are on the screen ... tomorrow! Thanks for this fast test patch.
Hi, found a hole in the pitlane of AS7, take a look at the attached screenshot below. The car's tyre CAN get in that, making it a buggy and unstable state (car is shaking a little bit).
Using version 0.6F2, it's there in 0.6F, too.
Stahp this!
I'm not only awaiting and being excited about the Westhill update, but about this red-cyan anaglyph mode, too, as it will be the only way for me to try out some 3D (well, I'll buy only the CV of the Rift, who knows how many years...). I have some (4-5) red-cyan glasses here and will definitely try them out with LFS. (The TrackMania 2 Canyon feels great with that mode.) Probably won't race with them, I just want to try it out
Thanks for this, "New car shaders giving higher frame rate when many cars on screen" should be interesting, nice to hear - at least for me, as I have some FPS problems when I'm on-grid, on the start of a race.
