EDIT: Just noticed there are two torrent links on that page. The first one is correct (links to the 0.6F version), but the other one? What is that good for? I think it just confuses the players who want to download it as a torrent - because just like me, I noticed the wrong link (0.6E torrent) first at the bottom of the page.
It's unexpected but great. I like this new design, well done boys, it was a great step! Will the "join date" and the "location" info boxes come back here on forums, under the users' avatar? Plus I miss the indicator of current online players on the main page
I really didn't want to post some offtopic stuff here, but some retards (sorry for the phrase) started to spam the online activity box with restarting a server a million times, to raise awareness with their servers name... see the picture.
Of course I meant Ctrl+S, sorry. Checked older versions, and I can see that message, just because it was saved in bmp, which takes longer. I usually save in png, which is very fast. For some reason I thought it should be a grey text in the chat, not a text instead the FPS counter. Sorry for the false alarm then. (anyway, I think it would be better to actually see that message longer in the chat to confirm that I saved that screenshot correctly - but this whole thing is a very minor thing)
Hm, I'm not getting errors on that texture. However, I don't have that hospital texture at all. I have a "U. M. S. A University of Kent" logo there. (see pic) I have no mods installed.
EDIT: I don't know why, if I press the Ctrl+S* key combo to do a screenshot, the "screenshot saved at" message is not displayed in the corner (even not in the chat history), but the screenshot is saved.
EDIT2: Sorry, of course it's Ctrl+S, not Shift+S.
Just tried it out, the default interface / text mip bias at -0.5 by default seems perfect to me, yet -1 seems too sharp.
EDIT: sorry for making another page, Flame posted a picture about the heli view at the end of the last page.
I don't think it is a problem - for me.
The Local/UTC fields have a grey background so we can see them better, I think.
And the Driver, Garage and Track buttons are buttons, just you can't see them highlighted because of the dark background. (See my attached picture, I changed the background to a plain white one.)
This. And everything is fine. I don't know how does Steam work with developers, but I'm sure they (Valve and co.) keep some on the profit for themself...
After there are some real content updates, we will see if the number of players increases enough to keep it this simple. If yes (and well, let's hope it will), I don't know what is this fuss about Steam. But let's not decide this question, the LFS dev eam has the right to make the choice (and I think I'm not the only one who doesn't want LFS to be on Steam).
No. It would bring more players, that's right, but it would bring a lot of FPS kids too (who have no real life), and crashers, crashers, trolls etc. Result: fair racing and Multiplayer completely destroyed... Just don't (ever) publish it on Steam. Never.
If you don't want to use it, then don't use it. These things don't block you in any way, do they?! These options harm you, right? Maybe someone will need it and will use it well...
