Minor LFSWorld / PubStat bug:
When opening the detailed server information:
* on S1 servers it shows "S1 <ver>"
* on S2 servers it shows "S2 <ver>"
* but on S3 servers it shows "S1 <ver>".
Not sure if I can call this a "bug" or not. It's not a real bug, just a translation error. At the bottom of all wiki pages, there is an uneditable string (or I just didn't manage to find the method), it's one of the links. "About LFS Manual" is translated as "A LFS ManualROL", which is wrong, grammatically incorrect and ... ugly! It should be: "A LFS Manualról".
Might be completely offtopic and unrelated to testing (sorry for that), but I wanted to add 0.6J3 to our version history page on LFS Manual and I can't edit wiki pages. None of them. I always get an instant "Server error 500" with description "The website encountered an error while retrieving http://en.lfsmanual.net/index.php?title=Version_History_(complete)&action=edit. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.".
I'm on Chrome 47.0.2526.80 m (64-bit).
Well, I accidentally went to the main page and spotted the news on the right. I couldn't find a notice anywhere else and I thought it would be important to share it, so I shared it on LFS Fanpage on Facebook just to make sure it reaches more people: https://www.facebook.com/LiveForSpeedFanpage/posts/1093697633981929
Well I guess you expected an answer that helps you with Bandicam but I highly recommend using Open Broadcaster Software (OBS). It works pretty well, I even streamed with it without problems - my own experience. You should really try it, it has many options and highly customizable. Make sure you are running version 0.6J of LFS.
If you read its name you might think it's for broadcasting, but you can record locally, too. More info here: https://obsproject.com/
I don't really know what can the developers of a specific game on Steam do and what not.
In my opinion, of possible, the best way would be to put it up on Steam, but not selling there and keep the purchasing method the same as it is now. On the Steam store page everyone would see a working demo (or free-to-play?), the page would let them know there are 2 paid licenses available to buy. If they want to buy it, they MUST do it on lfs.net as at the moment.
Again, I don't know how do the Steam internals work.
EDIT: @MousemanLV yeah, I think exactly the same, as it would be simple advertising with no profit for Valve
Aww god I thought there's a new official topic about an update or it's a progress report ... got so excited!
And yeah, turn on auto clutch if you want to drive like that.
