Thanks for this! In my opinion, it adds a lot to the immersion when racing in sunset, when the Sun is low. Drove some laps in FOX around RO ISSC Long and the way my car's shadow is moving on the ground is awesome, well done Scawen! I also tried to find my car's shadow in my mirrors, too, but I couldn't. If the shadows in mirrors aren't a thing yet, I think it would be great to have them, too (for non-VR users, the new mirrors are the best part of this update, anyways, but I don't know if it's possible to develop in three days time, as you expected to release the full patch this weekend ).
Here is the archive of my livestream ... I was having some technical issues at the start so please skip to 9:15. A bit boring race (except the first 5 laps) and I had to deal with my shift up button sometimes double (or triple) clicking or not clicking at all... After finishing, I escorted Esko to the finish line, because 2 laps before the end, he ran out of fuel
Honestly, I don't really remember but if I recall correctly, even before P3, we had black mirrors while looking at a car in TV camera - the same as in P3. Are they supposed to be real in P3 or still not? If not, are you planning to make this work? It would look great.
EDIT:
I checked out MRT and its mirrors, and seen that with the car being shown on the mirrors, you can clearly see the "less-developed" parts of it. Check these pictures:
Actually, I think the new mirrors in P3, which doesn't seem like a huge thing, are quite useful and important addition, because when you are racing, you check the mirrors a lot. Great update, well done, looking forward to the next test patches!
Today's race, which was a pretty good one - streamed live, check it out below (for some reason, it's still not offering 720p to watch, I hope it will be available soon).
Great shots! Seems like I forgot to set my numberplate ... what a shame By the way, you should check out imgur because its great to share more pictures at once and its better quality. Anyway, here's my livestream uploaded on YouTube:
Maybe, if there's enough space in the settings, we could have a screen/list of confirmations and we could choose when and where we want to confirm settings (like controller setup, exit confirmation etc.)?
