I'm not an expert on this topic, but as far as I can remember, we are still not using a LOT of DX9 features and far from using all the benefits DX9 offers.

For the record, in R22, ALT key now temporarily hides the outlines of selected objects. (just to make sure anyone heavily involved in making layouts gets to know it )

Oh I didn't really notice that there's an update for your program. Just as I thought the discord app should start silent (without messages), I see you already updated it. It's now working flawlessly, as you say! Thanks for your work!

Now that it starts without any messages, the only thing that I don't like is that need of the "files" folder inside the LFS directory. It makes a mess. Is it possible to somehow code it to check for insim.ini inside its own "LFS Discord" directory (I have no idea how to do that as I have no experience in programming )? If it's not really possible, it would be great to have "files" renamed something like "files_discord" or "discord_files" so it's not that confusing - you know, 'files' can almost relate to everything (LFS itself, Discord extension, other apps).

Thanks for reading my suggestion(s). Also, we "advertised" your program on the LFS Discord, so more players get to know about it!

(EDIT: for even less confusion, insim.ini, which contains all the needed config parameters for Discord app to work, should be smth like config_discord.ini )

Don't worry, I'm sure the devs are doing everything to ensure compatibility and great performance on older systems as well - as optimization has always been a priority. Also, it never hurts to take a step forward in terms of graphics, or anything else.

To be honest, my hardware is nowhere near ideal. I'm playing on and streaming from a Lenovo IdeaPad Y500 with an i5-3210M and two GeForce GT 650M's in SLI. As you can see, the stream is stuttering from time to time, so this config isn't meant for streaming, only for light gaming like LFS (and only gaming). My internet connection is roughly 12 Mbits down and 7 Mbits up, and seems like the 7 Mbit upload is enough for streaming 1280x720. At the same time, my ping in LFS didn't go up too much either (at least by checking my ping during the race ... I'm sure it must be a bit different to race against me while I'm streaming). Hope this helps, also, go for it, it would be great to see more LFS livestreams. Fire up OBS Studio, tweak it a little and you are ready to go!

Hi there, one thing I would recommend is that you should add your league in the Leagues section of LFS.net here: https://www.lfs.net/leagues . That way it will appear in the LFS calendar (given that you scheduled the rounds correctly): https://www.lfs.net/leagues/calendar

According to your profile seems like you are quite new to LFS. While it takes some time, effort and practice to race online, I recommend you to check out the B2R Rotate servers for some casual fun! On these servers the most players are online in the evenings, see you there!

That's right. Being an S3 Licensed player grants you all content available. You'll have all the S1, S2 and S3 tracks/cars and can join any server you want.

You can go straight for S3, that way you unlock ALL the available content (S1, S2 and S3 as well).
