From the point of view of the traveller it will appear to him that he is going much much faster than light even if he travel at 99.99% of light speed cause of the time distorsion. By getting closer he might see the whole life of the universe in one seconds and have crossed all the universe in that seconds.
Problem with light speed is that everything tends to the infinite. Time slowdown, energy involve, mass of the traveller but who knows

Well travelling faster than light is impossible under the current relativity theory (which seems pretty solid now). Going at light speed would already require an infinite quantity of energy.
What we could do however is shortening the distance.
The universe also appear to be close. If you were going perfectly straight for a very long time you would come back exactly to the point where you came from. By going faster than light you'd probably get out whoever knows where

Most of conflict are ressources or space driven. Ones you get a complete access to space it shoudn't be a problem anymore (unless if space is already overcrowded

The powerboost thing sounds like a very good idea. Would be cool to have a car with that option in LFS.

I wonder about the quality of the simulator behind this machine and how can they create a 2G effect in turns? It's possible to create iinstantaneous G force of more than 1 G but for a continuous effect you need a centrifuge!

Well I like it. Definitively not the best movie ever but it's an indiana jones.
IMO he have succeeded in the sense that he have respected the serie's codes. It looks old and modern at the same time.

I don't have much expectation from LFS anymore.
The actual Yxx test patches wiped my hopes for any improvements away.
It looks so much like the V patch devellopement except that this time the new things are just useless.
Well I don't care that much I had a lot of fun with it and it was worth every cents I put in it. It's still a good rrelaxation tool.

How can something that powerful be road legal?
I mean when I saw monster truck which were 1600 bhp, even being something like 50 m away I had to block my ear cause the noise was painful.
If the guy goes full trottle in the street with such a car anybody nearby would be deaf!
Well that's right but still it can be annoying to lose (even temporary) some money. It happened to me for something like 300 euros and it tooks me 1 month and a half to get my money back and some other complaints toward my banker cause they forget to refund me the interests paid for the overdraft it created.
And for the notepad thing unless you're able to encrypt what is stored in the memory during the copy/past it can also be loged.

Still there's the Keylogers problem.
Protx might be hackproof, most of people's computers are not.
It would be better if the website could use something similar to what my bank uses to input your code. Some kind of virtual keybord (only with numbers) appears on the screen so that you can click the number and not type them. The number position changes all the time.

I finished it again (zelda 1 - NES) 1 year ago and it still an awsome game.
My interest for the veyron is not about it being fast but fat!
40 peoples in their team. That's a starcraft 2 size team.
With a raw estimation I would say they need something like a 15 000 / 20 000 permanent userbase just to stay alive after having recovered their pre-gold release devellopement cost.
That's going to be tough with such pricing even if the game end up to be the graal of sim racing.
