We aren't going to trouble the top or even mid-table runners so for us it's a learning experience from which we will hope to improve.
Never run a race more than half an hour or so, never done driver changes, never driven with a (nearly) full tank of fuel or had to worry about tyres blowing out near the end of stints....it should be real good fun and I'm looking forward to it immensely
Clean consistant driving and bringing the car home is the limit of my ambitions. I'll leave all the fancy manouveres and over-taking to my faster and more experienced team-mates
Brundle was on radio 5 during Sunday evening when I was driving home from the Lakes. He confirmed The Chain would be the theme track and that there would be no HD feeds.
Note to newcomers: Subject to the game being run the same as last year, we should get a bonus question before the first GP. If you get this correct you will have another 2.5M credits to spend. This may or may not influence how you pick you team
I have 4 different team options atm, off to have a scan around and see who is sounding positive amidst the lower ranked runners .
Not really. This year might be more a lottery than usual with all the changes going on.
Its just like the fantasy football leagues, but you select two drivers, one chassis, one engine and a fuel supplier. Depending on how they perform you win points with which to upgrade the various components.
There are bonus questions before each race (generally easy with a little research) and bets you can place for pole position, 1-2-3 race finish etc which will also provide more funds for those Ferrari/McLaren items.
A bit of inspired guesswork and a little slice of luck can be enough

What, the bloke who was in charge when they were part of the worst takeover in the history of takeovers (the Dutch bank, cant remember the name) and ran up £28bn worth worth of debt.
Just because he like to tinker with old classic autos and runs his Ferrari rounf Knockhill now and again doesn't really qualify him in my eyes.
