Quote from BenjiMC :It wasn't R3's to continue racing, it was a suggestion to change to R3's on the rear. That message was sent before 08 rolled.

We won't allow you to rejoin the race.

Ok, maybe I heard it out of context. I wasn´t there myself, just found it a bit starnge to interfere with our settings ..R2 works fine, we just had some spins which ruined the tyres I guess!..but still, I wasn´t there!

I heard that we could continue after flipping over, if we changed to R3, s.franke said. i´m confiused. what does that have to do with the rules?

"IGTC S.Franke : 08 K.Gripping - You will need R3's to continue racing."

What could have been nice in this test race, is that other drivers could have some time also in the race instead. R2 rear tyres is not the problem

Quote from DeadWolfBones :This is true, but Benji and I don't feel that a team should be penalized for being large or having a good support network. This is something teams should be aiming for anyway, and I can think of very few real life leagues that would deny a team the chance to sub in drivers. Furthermore, a single car team has less to worry about (theoretically) than a two-car team... less ground to cover, fewer cars to staff.

In your scenario it's still the team that wins, no matter which car. In that same scenario the same team could have run one car and had the same result.

Thx for a honest response!

I don´t think you get my point.

For example. A team has 2 cars, A and B.
car A does very good, because of the magnificant drivers. BUT shit happens, and they get a lot of problems in the middle of the season. Two of their drivers get problem to come to the races and it will get hard to finish the season and they have also a lot of disconnects.

Car B has done not so well, but because they didn´t had all the disconnects, they have the same amount of points in the middle of the season.

Then the team decides to use all it´s good drivers they have on car B and they win the season.

This way they have 2 horses, which gives the team better chances.

Small teams have not that option so easily.

Quote from Bean0 :I suspect that each car would be treated as a separate 'team', so for example Concept-A in FZR and Concept-B in XRR. Any points scored in one car would be kept separate from those scored in the other.

There is no points reward for individual drivers, so there is no advantage here.

Hm, yeah, but am I winning in team car number 1 or 2 doesn´t matter for me, as long as my team and I win, if you get what I mean. The real team is the drivers, the cars is only skins and numbers.

What I think would be the simple and correct way of handling this, would be, every car, like "team 1", is handled like a separate team and has fixed drivers. The drivers should NOT apear at any other car during the season. It´s over and out, if you have bad luck!

Wouldn´t this just be a way for the multiple cars team to choose the right car for each combo. If they have one FZR and one FXR for example?

5.1) Teams fielding more than one car may use a different model (FXR, XRR, FZR) for each car. However, teams may not change models mid-season unless otherwise instructed by series admins

If a team has 2 cars, may they use drivers from the other car, i mean, may the drivers go from one car to the other as they please?

It could happen in the same race or from race to race. Or if one of the cars has bad luck and they take their good drivers into the more lucky car

I think it is not realy fair to have two horses this way. It will give the big teams an advantage over the smaller teams

Hi Victor
I´m running Unity Racing Series. It´s put on hold now and is replaced by another Series, which is called Euro Series

We have had 2 succesful introduction races until now and are going to make it official now. Therefore we would like a subforum for Euro Series now, if it´s possible.

The subforum for Unity Racing Series can be taken aside for future use.

Moderators should be me, humbleridderen and Franke

Thx for all Guys who have participated in Unity Mini League and Unity Midi League. It has been great and exciting fun. We have now 2 winners, Speedway in the Mini league and R.Kolz in the Midi League. It will be remembered.

Unity racing series will be set on hold for a while and instead we, me an Franke, are planning to make a new series. We have some new things to implement as for example restrictions to some of the cars, but also other things. It will be much as exciting and challenging and it will start the 29th of january and will be running at tuesdays too.

Ínfo about that later. We still have some few things to fix yet.

Until we are starting the new league, we will arrange some fun races meanwhile.

Note I have changed the race to 2 x 12 laps instead, because it seemed to be too much for people with 2 hours.

We need people to say, what they want to this race, because it´s a 2 hours race and it´s allowed to be 2 in a car or more.

ARE YOU AWARE OF THAT?

So we want to know, who will try/know to make a car and with how many. Tell all kind of problems. They need to be solved before the race.
Also communication, when you f.ex, want to shift driver etc.

It´s a mini Endurance. will be funny if many comes!!!!..but not something you just do without preparation

I used this program and reduced acceleration to 80. I used DFP and had lot of trouble to lift the foot high enough, but with this program I could suddenly run 24 laps at Fernbay club reversed with LX6 with very little heating of clutch and even match my PB. So i think it´s very good. Thx... Drunken Predator

Quote from Gunn :Opinions can never be wrong. There is no such thing as a wrong opinion. I think spinach tastes bad, someone else thinks it tastes good. Neither opinion is wrong, even though they take opposite positions.

Yeah, you are right. Just wanted a little more listening and respect for others opinion. Accusing people for whining is more mobbing, than arguing, I think! Too prejudicial, in my opinion, isn´t it?

I find it interesting to know about the real problems with the new patch. Maybe there could be some good adjustments, instead of just pulling all the critics away by saying they are whining.

Quote from March Hare :Yes we could, but we won't.

Is there anything constructive in this whole thread? Just a bunch of people crying about how they can't play anymore because some things have changed. Apparently many of them haven't even tried the new patch but are just complaining because they want to be cry-babies.

Slap slap slapety slap. There you go.

Quote from March Hare :Ofcourse they don't! They just want to whine.

Couldn´t we stop to accuse of whining all the time, just because they have another opinion. It´s not nice!

Accuse people of cheating or havíng the wrong opinion, but accusing for whining is lack of words as I see it. Not a very constructive way to keep a debate.

Now it´s my turn to get a slap This forum is dangerous
