I still find it hard to see the simulation "realism" in acting like you have a clutch by lifting on the throttle, when you don´t have a clutch pedal or don´t use the one you have. Therefore I find it ok, to let people drive without the "clutch adaption" on some servers.
Personally it pissed me off sometimes, when I drive a race and suddenly I´m stuck in a gear (not because of overheating the clutch) and if I change gear down, because it can´t go up and I AM lifting the foot completely from the throttle), the engine dies. I use DFP, so why???

I fully understand that LFS is a simulation game, which means "simulation" + "game". ....BOTH.
Therefore I would suggest that there should be options to play/drive with different levels of simulaton both for the drivers and for the servers.
The servers should have the option to make those levels forced, so people can drive on the server that suits them best.
We have now "cruising" servers and others. Why couldn´t there be servers for maximum simulation and others with less? (optional)
For example, there could be servers without forced view and the forced "clutch"..hm "easing the throttle, when shifting gear", which is strange for those with DFP and Momo, because there is no clutch. So why should it be there?
Another level of forced simulation, if possible, could be forced real clutch and not just easing on the throttle, forced view etc.
This way with different levels of simulation, people can much better do what they want or need in LFS.

As version updates are done automatically now, it´s nearly impossible to keep playing with the X patch, so we are going to use the new patch Y from now on. :schwitz
I would have prepared to end the season with the same patch, but things demands us to change. So let´s see how it will be)

Points and stats for Unity Midi League 7 updated
There will be closed for new racers to the Midi League from now on.
The last one is Rasmus Østergaard, who want to try, but if he seems to be a problem, he has to wait for the Maxi League to come soon. (GTR class)

We are not using the test patches for the remaining races in the Midi league and the celebration race, so save the x10 - x12, if you want to try the x30+ patches.
We will be using the new patch in the Maxi League, which will follow the Midi League soon.
Edit: We are going to use the new patch Y in the last race, the 30th December. We don´t have a choice as updates are done automatically now.

Unity Midi League will not be updated to patch x30, so if anyone has done it or will do it, it can result in not being able to see te server on the server list or run on the Unity Racing.com server for tonight.
The best thing is to have a copy of the "old" patch, the lfs.exe file, and use that one for running the Unity races.
I will check out the new patch before I install it, if I do. Things have to work good first.

General rules:
Race admin is the boss in the races. If he decides to kick, ban someone or restart a race, it is his right. But the rules are his guidelines and he wll try to follow them as he can during a race. Normally he himself is racing, so he can´t see everything or do everything during the races. If something hasn´t been right during a race you can complain in this thread.
1. Disconnection: You can rejoin the server and race after disconnect.
Mayor disconnect meaning minimum 1/3 of the racing field will cause a restart. If the major disconnect happens after 80% of the race is finished, the standing will be as the situation was at the disconnection moment.
2. Crashes: Reset is not possible, but you can choose to hump carefully back to pit or to use shift+p to start again from the garage. If this option seems misused in endurance races to change a car or save time, you can get a punishment.
3. Restart: Will only be if the raceadmin judge it as a mayor disconnect (min. 1/3 of the racing field) or if the start order or the race setting is incorrect or incomplete due to the qualifying order) But it will be a judgment by the race admin, because he normally races himself and can´t have a complete overview. But he will in most cases stay in contact with others in the field by Teamspeak)

Please, don´t write about all racing incidents. Just if it´s severe bad race manner and it is needed to be looked at. It can also be about chatting.
There are three levels of severity:
1. Racing incidents, which is mostly caused by lag or misjudging and not on purpose. Will not give any punishment
2. Accidents, cheating or causing unneccesary risks to others, because of careless and disrespectful driving concerning the other drivers and rules. F.ex cutting (4 wheels on the grass on the inside of a curve), not to be careful when entrying/exiting from pit or grass, not obeying blue flag, (when you have a fair chance to do it), bumping into another car repeatedly, obstruction to hinder to be overtaken (not the same as defensive driving, where you don´t have any contact and you can have one defensive move in the overtaking situation)
These offenses gives 5 penalty points.
3. Disturbing, wrecking, not obeying admins advices, warnings or orders or repeatedly continuing to be careless or disrespectfull.
A. If you are not really racing and in that case not going into spectate or leave the server. We will not have anyone just playing around.
B. If disturbing with chatting. It is not allowed under quaifying and race. A few smileys or short race relevant conversation is allowed, but only to an absolute minimum.
In these case, A or B, it can cause kicking for the actual race or banning for a minimum of 1 event day, maýbe more. Only admin decides what is best for the situation and the league
These rules are made, because we start to see a need for it, but we want to make them simple and effective and easy to understand. They can be changed, if admin see that´s neccesary.
Only official complaints will be looked at and only complaints written here before there is gone 2 days after the race. Any comments from the involved part will be investigated up 2 days after the accused are noticed by PM about the complaint. (Therefore, and untill the time limit is reached, it´s possible that a decision can be changed again until both parts are heard or they forgive each other)
You can´t complain for another.

Only for team battle seasons:
The 2 worst race days will not count on the final standing.
For letting a small team compete with a bigger team and reward the teams, who works best together, there is implemented this rule:
After each race, all the starting cars points from each team will be added up. (f.ex. Alias A 1 + Alias A 2 + Alias A 3 = total) and divided by the number of cars from that team, who started in that particular race, to give an average point standing. If a car doesn´t finish the race, it will be given 1 point less than last finisher
Teams can work together and make one team. It´s allowed to have a Team A and Team B, but they will be counted as it was individual teams. Drivers can not go forth and back between team A and B as they please.
If you are not in a team yet, we can try to help you into a special Tuesday race team (T-1) or (T-2)
You can also run under your own team name, if you don´t have a teammate.
Single drivers will gain 75 % of the points, they gained and they have to be in a real team or a temporary team (t-1 or t-2) before they have raced 4 races and before the season ends.
You cannot transfer your points to a new team, but 2 single drivers will have their gained points summarized, if they go together in a common team.
Point system:
32 points for the car on position 1, 31 points for the car on position 2 etc.
Bonus points: 1 for pole and 1 for fastest lap in each race.
New teams can join during the season.
