I will be doing the same thing, though I didn't know you had to select career length before starting? Surely a better idea would be to have an open ended one so you play as many seasons as you want. I can see myself doing so badly in the first season(s) that I end up stuck in hrt . I wonder if the game allows you not to have a drive for one year lol.

With ambient showing at 21C, depending on room temperature idle is 25 - 30C , full stress went upto 45C. Though I know when I stressed it previously on a lower overclock it went upto 40c because ambient was higher. I am looking at getting a couple of fans to make my radiator push/pull which should knock a couple more degrees off. They are good upto about 55C so enough head room but depends what temps I get under higher overclock as I like having a quiet pc.

I went with Corsair's H50 in the end but did you ever get your coolit eco?

Haha thanks, Just got to overclock it now I have seen people quoting 4ghz so thats the figure I am aiming for though obvious depends how long it stays stable for. At the moment, I am now running at 3.6.ghz and just passed 6 hours of torture test so looking stable.

You can't see his pedals so I don't know how much throttle/brake he is using but looks alright and the AI look fast in that setting. Only thing that stood out his pass on the sauber at the hairpin as he is such a long way back.

I agree with you there Tristan that video does make it look eye candy and not much else, though IIRC he states he is racing the AI on easy so might explain the ease at which he is able to overtake them. From reading other reviews of it, set on hard then they are a challenge to race against (though occasionally wrecking you.) You could also argue that they can't truely make an F1 sim as if you made the AI lap at full speed not many people would be able to keep up due to it being difficult.

All I hope for personally is that its arcadey enough to be pick up and play not thousands of laps of practice but real enough that its fun.

What Beano said would be the best place to start. Have you still got the old machine around to plug the hdd back in? If so would be a good idea to check in that to show rule in or out some of the possible problems.

I recently had a similar problem though it was down to a stick of ram being doa, though mu bsod didn't suggest it could be hdd corruption.

Edit: @MadcatX he said he can't boot in sade mode either.

I thought you meant you transported it but I just noticed you mentioned baggage handling. How did you travel? Because baggage handling suggests to me flying. If thats the case, I don't know what baggage scans they do at airports these days wondering if one of them may have corrupted the drive.

Well I would guess that they would make it 1:1 scale with LFS. As long as the track is modelled in a 1:1 proportion to the cars in lfs then it will be fine. While in reality the virtual track could be twice the size (as long as the cars are also twice the size) it makes no difference.

This is probably due to the fade to black being a calmer? song than others usually covered.

Who do I think will: Webber. Hes got the quickest car on the grid and is driving more maturely then Vettel.

Who do I want to (thats actually got a chance to): Hamilton. I am a fan of McLaren, Button and Hamilton but Hamilton has been performing better this year so I want him to win.

Who deserves it most this year: Hamilton. He hasn't had the quickest car this season but has always finish high up in the order and done so consistently.

Does anyone really care anymore? Seeing is believing though but I wont hold my breath.

Yup, this section more than others. Occasionally I look in the general racing section and skins. On a very rare occasion I look into general but nothing changes much so don't need to read it often.

Right, seem to have sorted it out now Was following Jakg guide to make lfs look better, I missed a couple of LOD settings out. All looks good now

Never seen this before. I have been away from LFS for a while but coming back racing fox on FM serves, sitting on the grid occasionally cars in front of me turn into boxes.

I am just wondering the cause of it and if I can fix it as it is annoying.
