when the porsche wheel is working properly, it is definitely better than the G25. you can find comparisons all over the place. smoother, stronger, more realistic force feedback, bigger wheel, and the Clubsport pedals are very nice. comes w/ paddles, gated shifter, and sequential shifter.

I've just got the normal 911 turbo, and the drivers for that are still buggy. sometimes they dont load settings and i have to do a few extra steps to refresh them. You'll see mixed reviews because early batches had some problems. Fanatec claims to have sorted all of that out for the new batches of wheels... too bad for me i had one of the earlier wheels, but I don't really regret the purchase.

racing single seaters feels a bit funny because of the wheel size. but you'll get used to it.

LFSnoob, are you running anisotropic filtering? i think that may help a bit with the textures. it shouldnt give you too much of a hit to FPS.

iget a bit of stuttering sometimes w/ my 4850, also, i noticed textures flickering on and off towards the middle/end of a nordschleiffe lap.

ati card users cant turn it on unless they own a physx addon card . Hopefully directcompute makes physx and cuda a thing of the past.

the demo and the full game havent crashed on me once. i noticed some strange stuttering once in a while while driving and watching replays, though. I've been using 600 degrees w/ the Fanatec 911 turbo. Anyone found a way to make the shifting quicker? these pics are unedited, except i shrunk them from 1680x1050

i turned off all assists, and braking is a bit odd. healtoe downshifting desnt seem to work? and theres a bnit of lag when shifting. i'll try playing around for a few more minutes

My settings in the profiler: 100% strength, 10% centering and 10% damper. Those were the settings that were recommended in the HistorX manual and I just stuck with those. Feels very good to me.

yeah, sometimes theffb is reversed. ctrl+8 fixes it if you have realfeel voice enabled, you should hear a voice say "force reversed" or something like that.

same as lfs. 0 centering spring 0 damping. 101% ffb. and then use the reccomended realfeel settings for the realfeel plugin. I use 900 degrees for my wheel, though and no aids. I use the same modified controller.ini settings that i used for the corvette and historix mod.

my system is very similar, except i have 2x2 ggis ddr2 instead of 2x4 and a 4850. I doobut the other 2 sitcks are helping your gaming at all unless you are playing at super high resolution w/ something really intensive.
