Quote from JJ72 :TRADE OFFER:

WANTED: To borrow a Formula GT for two race series only, not for keeps.

Can lend my minolta/toyota 7/DTM 190E in the meantime for exchange.

We should somehow get a "pool" together to buy this car and share it round.

Anyone got any tips for the 1st and 3rd Nascar advanced special events?, tried, and tried, but can only muster 2nd for silver, just can't get gold.

The first one is a pain as you have to go through the pit animation every bloody time, but I think the trick to it as getting out the pit lane ASAP and getting a push off the oncoming traffic.

Question about the RM's, is the colour random?, or is it related to the cars paint colour, or are all RM's the same colour?, I am sure I've seen different colours on RM's

And then the edurance series, and the Vettel challenge

The general public here don't generally recognize there is a distinction between "summer" and "winter" tyres.

Top gear specials are just plain nasty, seriously, is that the best they could do with the francise?

I know reviews are subjective yadda yadda, but......Edge (7/10) have summed it up pretty much for me.

Quote :In spite of its foibles, by sheer brute force of content and an overhauled physics engine Gran Turismo 5 fulfils its primary objectives. It’s a virtual Matchbox collection, and much of the pleasure comes from shopping and tinkering, and then feeling the results as you push the car out on the circuit. But this is a production that feels increasingly aged in the face of modern game design. The creeping and eventually overriding feeling is that this meticulously precise simulation, and its lovingly constructed catalogue of automotive history, deserved a little more game to come along for the ride.

Quote from jibber :So in order to get the same damage that was shown in that video of the rally car, i'll have to smash my car into walls at 200mph for about five hours?

If that's really true, then damage sucks big time in this game.

What they did say was........

Damage is the same for EVERY level, however.....

Standard cars, some minor deformation

Premium road cars, higher level of damage

Premium race cars, highest level of damage

So the best damage will only appear on premium race cars

Damage unlocked was debunked yesterday, Sony stated that the damage (visual) is indentical no matter what level you are at.

But yeah, if you want all the "features" then you have to grind, I wouldn't mind the X1, but I have to grind my way to Lvl30 to get it
