Quote from The Very End :What you mean by that, shape?
I know that if there are packet loss on the line, due to crappy ISP, it would causes nightmare on streaming, but I kind of ruled that out since it's onle Youtube and no other streaming sites

traffic-shaping, aka QoS. there was an article out the other day about British ISP's doing some dirty underground deals to block out certain steaming sites in favour of others... i think one of them was the BBC iplayer in favour of youtube.

http://www.pcpro.co.uk/feature ... -of-the-net-as-we-know-it

whether or not they do that in norway, i don't know. but that's some seriously evil stuff there.

Quote from tbofram :Ye my friend is on sky broadband (uk) and he only used like 49gbs in the first month he was registered and they put him to dial up speed without even phoning him. I think it is horrible.

i used to work for a Tier 2 ISP, doing tech support for our network and our the networks of some of our subsidiaries.

on a daily basis we used to look at the CMTS for the modems responsible for the most traffic, or otherwise going over their cap, and we'd change their provisioning mode so that their modem would get stuck offline. the only way for them to fix it would be to call us and then we can tell them to either fix their virus-ridden computer, or to stop downloading P2P... then we'd turn them back on (and if applicable, start applying overage fees).

a 40gb transfer cap for a home user should be far more than enough... but the people we were disconnecting had sometimes 150gb of transfer.

while i won't say anything about DPI/QoS practices by ISP's, i feel the ISP's should be allowed to reserve the right to cut off people pigging out on their network.

Quote from J@tko :Ingame you can use any multiple of 1024 you like, as long as it has the same name as the skin you uploaded

which means you'd have to resize it to 1024 and upload it anyways. but yeah.

i'd do two queries... do one to get a list of drivers for the team, and then for the second query, pull all the laps they've done, order by id descending limit one.

i don't know if it'll help, just throwing it out there...

how about merging the "splits" table and the "laps" table together...

something like... (see attached)

that table is part of a DB that holds info acquired from the airio STA files, which i had tied into a website. it was working pretty good, last i checked.

What's that song?

just like me, we didn't read the credits... the video author created the song, apparently.

i don't see anything terribly wrong with your table layouts, can we see the INSERT commands you're using?

could have done without the non-lfs clips, but okay.

edit: what's the song that's playing?

Quote from SparkyDave :ROFL in that replay, you are a cheater and also a crasher/wrecker.

So don't try the "ohh its just lagg" excuse

SD.

i watched the replay too... 200kmh in the xfg with no drafting or being bumped from behind? something is fishy there.

Quote :No longer welcome

it seems the devs agree.

Quote from P5YcHoM4N :Your ratio is appalling. At minimum it should be 1:1. It is people like you who ruin the Internet.

oh, get off your soapbox... i don't seed either for a few reasons...

1) my ISP (cogeco) packet-filters P2P uploads. (you'll find this a lot in north america)
2) there are enough seeds for downloads that additional seeding is not necessary...

unless you're downloading something that's...

1) really obscure
2) using a private tracker (do people still use these?)

but then that's your own fault.

Quote from byethost :If we do this, you CANNOT use the backup provided to restore any files with exception of perhaps image files as you may restore the method such a person used to access your account.

what a load of crap. they already know someone hacked your ftp account, it's not like you have a vulnerable php script on there...

nice script though, i would have figured they'd upload something that does more than flood ports.
