I had that problem when I didn't get proper FFB and didn't know how to setup the game and cars for something like G25. Nowadays I don't have any problems maintaining a good slide.
LFS maybe is more realistic, but I can say that when driving a good mod in rF it feels as good and similar to real life than in LFS too.
I can't explain this really, but I have noticed that rF can look very good on screenshots, but somehow when you put that all in motion it starts to look stupid. With the cartoonish way I was talking about.
I'm not saying this as a "LFS fanboy" or something, but I actually do think that LFS looks better than rFactor.
rFactor can look fairly good in a good track, but it's the colours, the whole game looks like a cartoon or something. I think lighting in LFS is a lot more realistic looking.
I dunno about that, but even if it does I'm not going to spend all my money just for GTA IV. Quad cores are still quite expensive and the performance gain against X2 isn't that awesome really. Sometimes the X2 is even better with lower price.
Athlon X2 4400+ @ 2.425 GHz (:razz and 2 gigs of DDR2 800 @ 402.6 MHz (:razz.
I'm maybe going for just Athlon X2 6000+, because of the good price/performance value I think and no more cores for me yet, because it's quite rare to be able to use the all performance of 4 cores.
GTA IV runs now a lot better, tho yet it could be better. I think I need better processor...
A bit OT but the most big effect between my old 8600GT OC and this seems to be with Crysis, with old card I was just able to play it with low settings without AA, but now I have everything on Very High (DX10 hack FTW) and 1280x1024 with 2xAA and 8xAF and it is nicely playable, no mouse lag or anything.
Yes, I have a good taste. Apparently I haven't been spamming enough because it seems not to be common forum knowledge that I'm an oldskool Escort nutter.
Hmmm... I thought that's just an "effect" to simulate the shape of the dials, you know the outline is a bit more closer to the driver than the dials itself and that's why they look like that. I think it looks better than it would if they are in the middle.

I might as well post this here, this my first GTA IV video.
Contains clips of about three weeks of play.
Aspect ratio is messed up, but I dunno if there's way to fix it...
Hmm... Or the fact that my buddy's computer didn't like to get running properly back in the day But I'm pretty sure it was 1950 and we were like that should be a good card but the performance is still so low.
Among my friends he was the first to get x2 cores in his system. But I still kept up with him with my 3000+ and X800.
