Quote from ViKTOOR-LFS :hi there

i have Question

how i can i only admins Allowed to vote for exp.(Change track ) i dont want anyone to press shift+x when i play.. i want only admins do that

sry for bad english

and thnx

You would need to use an insim such as Airio to cancel such votes.
Also worth mentioning that any admin can type /cv when a vote starts in order to cancel it.

Quote from Rhama :I also got banned from ....... and B2R servers for using the rev bouncer i once released here : because it is regarded as a cheat, no matter what u can explain to admins there, show videos, they dont understand what it does, and are too scared to try it.

Who banned you from the B2R server? You do not appear to be banned now.....I remember having a brief discussion with you about it and I suggested it would be better if you did not use it.
I fully understand what it does because I do read these threads and you showed me it working on the server. As I pointed out to you at the time there is zero interest in these type of things for me but I do understand that we are not all the same.

Quote from Nilex :Morn,
You're not confused :twirl:

Well I think I must be confused.
Why would they upload a hotlap that is clearly not using auto clutch...as auto clutch? Is there some merit that they feel they are better than others, even though they have had to cheat the system?
Hotlaps uploaded as autoclutch but...

Using the LFSW Hotlap Analyser I have noticed that some hotlaps that are denoted as using auto clutch apparently have a different clutch time to that of other auto clutch laps.
I have attached 3 pictures (from the analyser) to show what I am seeing, all 3 charts are of the clutch time from 3 different users at the same track in the same car.....all are denoted in the chart as auto clutch.

My question is, am I confused or is the "exploit" certain people are using?

The information in the !player list is gained from the players ip address, I think it displays both, the players chosen Airio language and the location of the ip address, but not their nationality.
I think if you were to have seperate tables of any kind then cars and/or tracks would be more favourable than nationality.

Quote from The Very End :By the way, the index should have a search function, to find yourselfe or others fast without having to manually scroll down the almost infinitive list

Yes I suggested that but as we know EQ is a busy man. It is easy enough to find someone without scrolling the list though, just put the username at the end of the link- http://stats.airio.eu/EXD.aspx?U=(username)

Quote from GreyBull [CHA] :As far as I know that number is mostly calculated on your LFSW stats(distance, race wins/podiums, hotlaps, variety of combos you've driven on). Only the "hotlap PBs" field is calculated by your activity on Airio servers, I belive.

The "Hotlap PBs" feild is concerning hotlaps uploaded to LFSW. The Experience Index Rating is calculated solely from your LFSW statistics, you never need to drive a lap on a Airio server to get your true rating...just connect.

Quote from sinanju :This isn't the first time I've seen this, just that it seems a lot more frequent now than in the distant past.

To me it seems the same as it always was, shame we did not remember when Scawen was doing his fixes.....it is annoying.

If you click properties on the file then it shows you the date the file was created...so yes it is different.

Quote from Nilex :Although it was introduced with specific purpose only to hotlaps to skip watching the long tire warming procedure, I'd like to agitate for online introduction as well......

I totally agree with what you are trying to say.
The times that can be set in hotlap mode are no longer comparable to those times set online.
Some parity would be good for those that only play online...the same tools should be available no matter whether on or offline.

Quote from Squelch :I have mixed views on this.....

I for one am not talking about racing or the first lap, I am talking about driving around the track (be it in qualify or practice) in a comparable car that the WR time is set with.

Check that you have the correct SRV.txt files, I just downloaded the free 2.5.4 and it is not the same as yours above....notably:-
# Remove idling cars in race - boolean
# Time in seconds after which player is seen as idling - integer
# Player is warned of idling on (IdlingTime - 10) and (IdlingTime - 5).
CheckIdling=true

Edit- In any case I imagine if you just insert "CheckIdling=False" into your SRV.txt file it will work...or even just type !cfg CheckIdling=false whilst logged as admin and it will work.

It is unlikely that the chip is the fault, more than likely the motor commutator is clogged and this has shorted out a few of the circuit board components....that are readily available and replacable. My G25 suffered the same fault, I managed to get the components replaced and cleaned the motors.
Take a look at this thread- http://www.racesimcentral.com/ ... h-G25-G27-Main-Board&
Note- Even if you replace your circuit board without attending to the motors it will cause the same fault, measure the resistance of the motors to ensure they are not shorting the circuit board out.

All back to normal here Dean...thanks.
If you could make the latest Airio (2.5.3) available when you get a chance.

It is difficult to raise a ticket if the Control Panel is down.
It would seem pointless to raise a ticket if previous (pending) tickets are still not answered.

Quote from Victor : The 'invalid host' thing can happen, but it'll happen not often.

This has also happened to me twice over the last three days or so, yet never before over three years. Whether this helps you at all I do not know, just thought I would mention it.
As you said, the problem is resolved by removing it then adding it again.

Quote from Crady :hmm..
- I guess it´s bettter not to ask, when the new Airio update (2.5.3) will be available .... the older update (2.5.2) still is not available...

I think EQ Worry waits for a week or so before sending the latest Airio version to Dean, incase of bugs. Apparently the 2.5.2 update has been sent, yet (as you say) is not available on the CP.
