The path check helps in these situations? I would love to see barrier detection but as we know that is not something EQ can give us.
Ah, I did not realise that the unrealistic times were from CG.
The online laptime database was always a good motivation for me and it is dissapointing that you had to delete all of the records, for maybe a handfull of incorrect times (restricted cars..GT2 etc?).
No doubt the charts will start to fill with good times once again and people will soon forget about all of this.
There are many tracks where you find that line will invalidate the lap. I personally would agree and say yes that is off path because I like using the "2 wheels on track rule" and the track is defined by the white lines.
Of course there are a number of arguements against my opinion such as- it may not be invalidated in LFS hotlap mode, virtually any real racing you watch they will use the same areas...etc...here my opinion is that everyone is in the same boat so it is fair. Now that you have the command on to tell you when you invalidate a lap it is easy to learn the limits within a few laps or so.
The only problem area for me concerning the path data would be South City, as it would seem impossible to cut the track anyway?
You are only using layouts and you tried loading layouts with Airio as suggested?
A simple fix would be to use the 2.5.0 .exe if that worked before...or maybe just remove the path files....no one else seems to be complaining about 2.5.1 saving pb times.
Cfg.txt:
# Time (percentage) required for stats comparing to WR - integer
# Players with worse time will not be stored in stats and just
# informed what time they must achieve.
MaxTime=110
Yes, it is digging up an old thread....and for your information you were on the server around the time in question.
If you would care to check your LFSW race details for the date- 15 March 2009. You were not banned from our server.
It is an old thread before such technological wizardry as a limited admin system...or at least before it was mainstream.
The translations are found in the msg folder, open the correct translation and edit it. Although I am unsure that Lithuanian translation is available yet (presuming the abbreviation to be LT) ?
You need to add an ident key so that Airio will download the latest world records. You get an ident key on Lfs desktop, its found under "My Lfs Settings -> Pubstat access".
Enter the Identkey in Airio.cfg.txt :-
# LFSW PubStats key - string
# If IdentKey is empty no LFSW data will be downloaded/available. In
# FULL version you may define several keys by starting/concatenating
# '+' to speed up free data retrieval process. Note that the keys
# must belong to different people, e.g. team members.

I am really not offended but there is a lot of rubbish said about WD40 on the net.
As an example from the link you gave :-
There are no seals in the potentiometer! As I said before they will need to be done again as WD40 is not a cure but it will not make cleaning any more or less frequent.
What did you read that made you think it is a huge mistake?
WD40 will not harm any of the parts/pots on the pedals, I assure you.
Will the pedals start to spike again eventually? Yes of course, WD40 can not stop the inherent problems of potentiometers. I have used WD40 on my pedals 3 times now over nearly 3 years of using my G25 and they have not turned to jelly/dust yet.
Remove the pedal plates then remove all the silver screws from underneath, carefully take the 2 pieces apart (there is a wire routed in the top half)....then using either WD40 or a contact cleaner squirt in the little gap on the side of the potentiometers....it helps to have some absorbent tissue. Work the pedals and give it a few more squirts then you should be done.
Alternatively you can dismantle the pedals and remove the pots and take them apart...but tbh unless they are full of junk you wont need to.
I hope it turns out to be true, I would like to see David Croft in his place. I do not think that Coulthard would work as I think you need a commentator type to work with the racing experience of Brundle....but lets be honest anyone would be better than Legard.
If you are using Airio, then edit the srv.txt with:-
# Track rotation scheme happening on every display of race end screen.
# "track[|laps/-mins[|car+car+]] > track..." in the scheme - string
# Instead of laps, minutes can be set as a negative value, the race is
# then for specified number of minutes plus one lap for the leader.
# Track name may be followed by underscore and layout name.
RotateTracks=KY1|4|UF1>KY1|4|XFG+XRG+MRT
# Number of races after which to rotate tracks by ending race - integer
# Number of minutes after which to rotate tracks by ending race - integer
RotateRaces=5

To me it sounds as though he just answered a question, he offered the options and then went on to point out that it would be futile and only make matters worse.
Wow, that is very impressive.
I am down to a 43.886, after watching Daves video above I think I need to work on my setup...if I ride the kerb like that I am in a world of trouble.
Great game though, real nice feel...must be madness to have others on the track too.
Agreed, I really like it.
I have done maybe 40 or so laps and am in the 45 second bracket, need to do a bit more adjusting of the wheel settings but it definately shows promise.
