I am new to German cars. I don't really know where to start searching, anyone got links?

i have bimmer,whats the question?
I have a BMW. Not lucky enough to own a 5 series though

Here are a websites I know of...

BMW5.co.uk

All the rest are dedicated to the M5. The one I'm a part of is e36coupe.com, even though its an e36 website, they have a few 5 series owners and a dedicated part for the 5 series.
Now with new wheels:

Here's mine.

I know it's a M-tech front bumper, what about the rims? and also can you tell how low has this owner dropped it? I am looking to replicate this look, with 17" of course

Wow, beautifull! That's a Firebird if i'm not mistaken?
(Damn, i wanna live in that kind of neighboorhood )

EDIT: it's a Vette, i'm going mad
The wheels are "Style 5's"

Each BMW is given its own Style number. For example, mine are Style 42's.

The ones in that picture are Style 5.

Also, I'm not sure about the drop, not sure what they sit standard, so I cant help I'm afraid. Should be easy to replicate with some new shocks and lowering springs.

its dropped at least 1.5-2 inch according to the space between the tyre and fender, mine is kinda the same.http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/7258/picture120aw3.jpg

Scooby P1, rare.... and nice.
Well, here's my little project. Not even nearly finished yet, the look what it is having now is very harsh. But it haves 2.0 EFi Pinto with worked out lid and Pipercam cams and Crane valvesprings. 205 Block, 25 000 km now with this build. After next summer it hopefully gets more go by building an turbo engine to it.
And by next to it is my other one (that stock looking), I used to drive it in last winter until last summer I got number plates to this whaletale one. I liked to trash that 1.6 Pinto. Now it is waiting my motivation to repair it's lid and then maybe trash it more or just sell it.

Project RS500?
Quote from beefyman666 :Project RS500?

Well, could be.Next engine I'm gonna build, hopefully runs somewhere around 200hp so atleast it's gonna be close to stock RS Cosworth. I don't yet know am I gonna get this car painted or not, because I have actually been thinking to keep this harsh look, would be great sleeper and still have the aggressive Cossie look same time. Gotta wait and see where all money goes... I actually did own RS Cosworth arches (or whatever theyre called in English) but I sold them.

Oh, almost forgot, teh sexy interior:

Gotta get better seats...

Look like shit, go like stink approach! Even if you don't Cossie it, a turbo'd motor will still do the job.

Those seats do look awfully uncomfortable. And sorry but I have to LOL at the fluffy purple dash!

Be sure to post more pics when you get a bit further with the project.

Why you selling your Exige it's a beaut a true brits car don't sell her.
Nah, sorry but I love that interior, I would prefer real fuzzed dash like in rallycars, but no money for that. Those seats are original, they are actually quite comfortable, but they don't support from sides, so I would like to get Recaros or some other bucket seats.
Nice cars guys, but I think I beat you in one thing, next month 2000km trips every week with 1983 car, if you drive more with older car, then I'm beaten, but I think no one is as crazy
This WAS what I was driving!

How did you manage to hit a tractor? It's not like you can't see them.

I thought the same, also they quite rarely can reach speeds where they can surprise by sudden movements

The overly unpredictable speed of less than 20mph. Surprisingly they will stop quite quickly considering their weight but knowing the kind of farmers round the Norwich area (assuming that's where TheAfro had the prang) don't usually stop for much.

I'm trying to recognise that road, but as theres not much to tell from the pic, I don't really know.

Also indicators are quite often malfunctioning as are other lights, usually they decide to stop and turn at blind corner to seemingly deep forest, but I guess I'm too used to that already as I'm driving about 60 000km/year

All the tractors I've been in don't have a return on the indicator stalk so if and when they do use indicators they don't turn them off. And they usually have all their working lights on at night time on the road as well as their normal road lights, so you really can't see bugger all infront of you.

After living on a farm for 5 years I kind of got to learn the in's and out's of farmers bad habits.

Rule #1, farmers don't give a shit.
