i have a 500 and space is just kidna dissapearing
Quote from logitekg25 :i have a 500 and space is just kidna dissapearing

I'm struggling here with 160GB, 'cos I have 78 on C drive and only 70 on D drive. And I have My Documents and games on D... You know... That sucks.
I also have remotable 160GB HDD which has around 100GB... (Full of downloaded stuff.)
So, if you are lacking space, what should I say?
To get more space, do format C:
Quote from Bose321 :To get more space, do format C:

Yeah... Then my Windows crushes down... And then I would be ****ed, 'cos I don't have the Windows CD... And that would buy me maybe 5GB, 'cos I need almost everything from C that I have now.
than buy a new hdd, lets say a 320, split it,60 gig for C.. rest goes for stuff

Too short on money to do that, but I'll be forced to buy new one if I continue to photograph like this... I got few gigs of photos in no time...

Did dwb pick that for you?
Quote from pb32000 :Couldn't afford a full upgrade so today swapped out my E6600 for a Q9550, moved up to 8GB Crucial Ballistix and dual Samsung F3 1TBs in RAID 0. Just need to replace the graphics card some time in the next couple of months.

...and today was the day. There's no way I'll be able to afford the new Geforce 400 series at launch, so I plumped for a nice shiny new ATI 5850 today, and dropped in a new PSU as the old Hiper is a bit less than legit.

Specs are now:

Mobo: ASUS P5B Deluxe
CPU: Intel Q9550
RAM: 8GB Crucial Ballistix
GFX: ASUS 5850 1GB
PSU: Corsair HX 650
HDD: 2x Samsung F3 1TB in RAID0

And I think... that's just about all you can do with LGA775
Only thing I don't like there is the Intel CPU. Everything else is awesome.
Quote from matijapkc :Only thing I like there is the Intel CPU. Everything else is awesome.

What's wrong with the Samsung HDD's and the PSU and the GPU?

Oh, and you can do better on the LGA775. QX9770

Yeah, and you can pop a couple of 5970s in, but I just meant it jokingly :P
Sorry guys. I failed epicly... I wanted to say I don't like Intel... Sorry... Fixing...

Even worse, what's wrong with it? They're fast...(er then AMD)

Same for me, I don't think it's worth it for me atm, everything still runs great, and I want to wait for the i9, or AMD's answer to it.
Quote from Bose321 :Even worse, what's wrong with it? They're fast...(er then AMD)

I'm using AMD since I was choosing my PC specs, and I read an article 'bout Intel. They tried to force AMD out of market, so I just don't like 'em. And I think AMD is faster. Sorry if you don't like this what I'm saying, but it's my opinion.

Same about nvidia, that's why I hate them.

AMD faster? Please tell me a CPU that is faster then the i7, and the upcoming i9.
