That system deserves a 19" monitor. You could run 1280 x 1024 with AA and AF. Anything 75hz or higher is fine.. You could get a KDS Flat CRT for about 130 USD.... I have an old Flat 17" CRT with a nice anti glare screen that I run 1200 x 900 with a little AA and AF. LFS runs really smooth.. A cheap FLAT CRT would really help you out. A 6600GT can pump out some frames. You could get a Viewsonic G90f for pretty cheap- I have seen them for a lot less than advertised on the website-
PERFECTFLAT SCREEN With the 1920x1440 maximum resolution, 1600x1200 resolution at 77Hz. http://www.viewsonic.com/produ ... itors/graphicseries/g90f/
Just some ideas...
Will probably be my next upgrade after the X800XL..
