I applaud you for using vector program, I've also made all Fragmaster team skins in Illustrator.
Brazillian skin masters have been very efficient in using 3d portion of Photoshop to make skins. They are able to do stuff that Illustrator just cant do.
It is a very solid effort, you could propably hide the mismatched checkers by having striped design that blends in with the green background color But that might not look so great compared to getting the design just right over the fenders.
A small thing that i found helpful for myself when wrapping designs around different parts of the skin was to think more "in 3D", as in not just applying a 2D pattern over the skin but instead making it flow according to the pro-kit wireframe, in the top part of the fenders i would for example curve the checkered pattern to avoid the pattern "consuming itself" and then adjust the side according to how it looks at the top. Maybe it could be worth a shot?
Here's a very crude example of what i mean:
Maybe Photoshop has good tools to adjust the pattern as a whole instead of trying to apply each "checker" manually though
according with the french comic "Michel Vaillant" of Jean Graton, here the colours of the infamous Bob Cramer, the bag Guy os the serie.

édited because of new version of RB4.
the previous skin does not work well with the new version of the RB4
I'm working on a version of the skin that will be compatible with the 2 versions of the RB4 (for now, the one I posted "works" not too bad with the old RB4, but it's not perfect)
the upload of the skin is updated

Made a proper but quick conversion of Johnny Bravo FZ5 skin to FZR - while uploading, there was already a skin of that name,so someone has already uploaded a renamed version I guess.
The proper conversion is also uploaded now in LFSW,for the older skins click on the quote title.
FXR skin now is updated but with same name and uploaded, if you have downloaded it but want the "new" one delete it from "skins" folder of lfs and "skins_dds" folder so that when you put it back the dds is updated.
After some hours of work, i have finished this skin with help of skt-raigs! We have worked to make it the best as we could, is not 100% pefect but looks pretty nice imo!
Hope u like it
By seeing the picture, you put the car template in the wrong directions hence why it looks all off. You can see how the text that you thought would be on rear bumper is on the rear quarter.
To fix this help yourself with the masterskinnerz kits here http://www.barkingpig.org/msz/pages/kits.php, they have different useful layers like wireframe and blackmask. Another thing to keep in mind is stretching, every car has a different amout of stretching in the final result so what you see on the image editor is often not how it will look like in the final result have a look here: https://www.lfs.net/forum/thread/64975-The-Stretching-of-Skins
The procedure to put a skin into cmx is the same as in lfs, you put the skin in data>skins then in cmx you select the car and the skin that should show up.
